  1. How creepy – rubbing the other woman’s hands.

Just beautiful speaking, she’s for all of us, working for all of us, going to work for all of us, and look to the future, see the future is working, make a future for the children, give the future a chance…./s/
The robotic campaign speaking isn’t just a Dem affliction – the Repubs are guilty, too.

  2. I cringe when I hear a professional politician talk about ” public service “.
Six figure salaries, hefty pensions, private jets, limos and 1st class lodgings. Oh, and those expense accounts, all on the public’s dime.

  3. OT.
Our family lost our Mom last Friday.
    The funeral was yesterday.
She was 91 years old and had a good life.
She told us that she was ready to meet her Lord.
She is resting beside Dad now.

She taught me how to read music and play the piano along with many other people.
She had many students through the years.

The last few days have been hard for me and my family.
She was a Mom, Grandma, and Great Grandma.
She went peacefully among her family.

She is in a better place now.

    • My sincere sympathies.
This verse brought me great comfort when my mother passed:
      Hebrews 12:22 (KJV)
“But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,”

        • Dear AFVet,
I’ve been trying to find words, but I can’t, except this.
Dad’s gone, a brother is gone and childhood friends have gone before me. But Mom? Passed away over 30 year’s ago, and I would give everything I have jus to sit down and have a cup of coffee with her.
Trying to say I think I understand the sorrow.

          • I still find myself thinking, “I need to call Mom and tell her about this!”
My mother…a wise woman who taught me by example and words.
I love you, Mother. I miss you each and every day. I remember your words of advice. I recall how you acted and reacted and I know….I am poor at emulating your example. Thank you for being my precious mother.

    • Condolences to you and the whole family on the loss of a dear one.
It’s a hard thing to deal with even when it is expected.
      Peace, friend.

    • She IS in a better place, AFVet. She is in the Lord’s House, and there is no place better. I lost my parents a very long time ago now, and I still think about them almost every day. Memories. I lost a brother two years ago from long lingering effects of Agent Orange, and still see him clearly in my mind. We will someday all join those we have lost, that’s a sure promise. Until then, we honor them all. God bless.

    • AFV, My sincere condolences to you and your family. What a wonderful legacy to have shared her gift of music with so many students. My parents passed many years ago but not a day goes by that I don’t think of them or realize that they’re still with me in some way. Wishing you comfort and peace.

    • Peace, prayers and blessings to you AF Vet and the family and friends. How very fortunate you all were to have shared her life and been graced with her spirit.

      Thoughts and prayers.

    • AFVet…my sincerest condolences to you and your loved ones.

When we lose a loved one here on earth, we gain an angel in heaven that watches over us. May you take comfort in knowing that you have an angel to watch over you now.

    • What a wonderful Mom, AFVeT. My sincere condolences to you and your family.
I lost my Mom eight years ago, I think about her every day, I know how you must feel.

    • I’m sorry. I know it hurts. I am Christian and someone told me that even if they could come back, they wouldn’t want to. Prayers for comfort for you and your family.
