  1. Someone gave Obama a Dreidel for Hanukkah. It’s got the guy all confused and baffled so he’s dedicated this Friday trying to figure it all out. Leave your messages on his answering machine. He ain’t picking up today.

    • srdem65 Who is she and what is she supposed to have said?

BTW reading the LAT article linked to Drudge –San Bernadino Shooters had more Planned — We are not going to get very far as long as we refer to them and Shooters and not Terrorists.

      • Thanks both of you. Now that I have read the link her name does come back and I will look around for what srdem65 is referring to.

That said, the article — wow! An exercise in politically correct writing — war mongering, racist, privileged, social justice — I have to assume there is a mandatory “creative” writing course out there.

    • Warning – you can’t un-read this.

…the White House chose Susan Talve to light the Menorah. Talve is a member of the anti-Israel group T’ruah which is currently promoting assorted “soft BDS” programs. She’s also a Ferguson activist. Her behavior was deeply insulting to the religious Jewish community and made it clear that the White House was determined to hijack even a Chanukah party to promote an anti-Jewish agenda.

So the general conviviality of the Chanukah party was disrupted by a crazed rant from Susan Talve in which she seemed determined to jam as many leftist talking points as possible in her limited time. Instead of talking about Chanukah, Talve blathered on about getting, “guns off our streets” and to “clean up the fires of toxic nuclear waste”.

Talve screeched, “I stand here with my fierce family of clergy and black lives matter activists who took to the streets of Ferguson”.

Having celebrated the race riots which destroyed a community, she pivoted to Syrian Muslim migrants. Chanukah is a celebration of the Maccabees defeating a Syrian occupation, but Talve may not even know that. Radical clergy tend to be light on the religion and heavy on the social justice.

Instead she rambled on about how the “gates of this nation would stay open for all immigrants and all refugees”.

Then, not satisfied with having made a disgrace of the Chanukah ceremony, Susan Talve declared, “I stand here to light these lights to say no the darkness of Islamophobia and Homophobia and Transphobia.”

Talve babbled about insuring “justice for Palestinians” and began gleefully chanting, “Ins’Allah, Ins’Allah”. Or “Allah Willing”.

I don’t recall Susan Talve mentioning G-d or a word of Jewish scripture. Indeed she spent more time talking about Muslims than about anything in Judaism. And yet that’s typical for Social justice clergy who have no organic ties to Judaism.

    • Just a little giggle about your polite OT. Realistically, perhaps we have exhausted the topics about yet another day in the life of the boy king: a briefing we know nothing about that may or may not happened, and lunch with crazy Uncle Joe

  2. Reading about a whistleblower on Megyn last night who said he was told by State to shut down investigation of Islamist groups looking to infiltrate the US. Reason: it could be “problematic”. Did anybody see this interview?

    • We’re aware and monitoring. Going to dig more into it over the weekend and if get anything new will post on a thread of that day.
At this point nothing surprises me. My day job is with a critical infrastructure company and we’ve been wondering for years now when the terrorists would start coming after the softer/easier targets in the midwest.

      • Thanks. Fingers crossed. And who would have thought any of else would be adding this little note to our correspondence in the United States of America — Be Safe.

Because the Chief Executive and the departments under his head are certainly not watching out for us.

  3. I respect Ben Carson. I don’t want him to be the next President, but clearly there is a leadership role for him.

That said, the MSM once again distorts. The headlines now are BC threatens to go third party blah blah blah. No he was reacting, as he should to a dinner the RNC held with some special snowflakes. There was discussion of a broker convention.

Carson and Trump have said this should not be. They threatened nothing. But the RNC probably will go to great lengths that neither of these men receive the nomination. The RNC newest pet appears to be Rubio.

    • Yikes. Unfortunately for me and the post above and for Ben Carson it is reported he said this.

Carson said he prays the Post’s report is incorrect and threatened to leave the GOP. “If it is correct, every voter who is standing for change must know they are being betrayed. I won’t stand for it,” said Carson, who added that if the plot is accurate, “I assure you Donald Trump won’t be the only one leaving the party.”

      Read more:

      • And I am not sure Trump ever did directly threaten to leave the party.

What a mess Ben Carson and I have made of this. Where is Star when we need her? :):)

        • I’m here–am I the cure or the disease…? I think half a dozen need to make the sacrifice and leave–and Carson is certainly one. Maybe draw lots? Or is it always by polls? My fantasy is that Trump will see what a hash he has made of things–and bow out…He can pat himself on the back all he wants for bringing these subjs into the open, exposing the underlying fears and hostility of a lot of voters, etc. He has–take credit. As I said–fantasy…If he did it, though, I would really see he is not all about himself…

          • Thanks. The implication is that by leaving they would establish third party runs. Nobody wants that. Carson couldn’t carry it, but Trump might. My thing is that is it misleading to suggest they would do third party or if they would make you happy :) and just bow out.

What I don’t like is the game the RNC is playing — it’s either our guy or we may not back in good faith the nominee of the people Dunno. Unhappy with GOPe and RNC anyway. Thanks.

  4. Well, after seeing that empty desk the other night, I can’t imagine he ever does much of anything. I’ve even heard he doesn’t care about the daily briefings (because he’s so smart, doncha know) so I’m sure 10:00 is dedicated to Dunkin Donuts in bed.
