In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

      1. Not a single acknowledgment from President Cool or any member of his inner circle of our greatest generation or their sacrifices for our country. Not one.

Seriously, what a bunch of juvenile, naive little disrespectful assholes.

      1. And this is what we’re stuck with today:
“Yesterday, December 6th, 2015,–a date which will live in idiocy–The United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked by the petulant and politically correct forces of the Empire of Obama.

    1. Exactly. Slap in the face. Facing a war with terrorists today and not even a nod to those who brave men and women of Pearl Harbor and WW II .

        1. You give him too much credit. He does not know that — not even a smidgen — to make a statement like that. Clueless when it comes to American history that is not neo colonial, racist, etc etc etc. And this WH micromanaged bombings.

  1. Schedule for the Week of December 7, 2015

On Monday, the President and the First Lady will attend the Congressional Ball at the White House.

On Tuesday, the President will participate in a DNC roundtable.

On Wednesday, the President will travel to the U.S. Capitol to deliver remarks at an event commemorating the 150th anniversary of the 13th Amendment. The President will be joined by Members of both the House and Senate, including Congressional leadership and the Congressional Black Caucus, in marking this historic event.

In the afternoon, the President will welcome Israeli President Reuven Rivlin to the White House for a meeting. The President looks forward to discussing with President Rivlin a range of issues of common focus, including the unprecedented bilateral security cooperation between the United States and Israel, regional developments, combating extremism in all of its forms, and the need for genuine advancement of peace between Israelis and Palestinians and a two-state solution. President Rivlin will also be an honored guest at the White House’s annual Hanukkah reception, following the meeting between the two presidents.

On Thursday and Friday, the President will attend meetings at the White House.

    1. Now that he has officially wiped his hands of any involvement with the ISIS crisis and foreign policy, he will devote his time to “meetings” re his personal post-presidency agenda. His gargantuan mess will belong to the next guy.

    2. Attending a Congressional Ball…out f*****g standing! Our nation survives yet another attack, and our elected “leaders” are going to a ball?
Shameful, despicable, a slap in the face to America.
The enemy watching sees how Washington reacts, party party party.

  2. And the band plays on. He’s not a Christian, IMHO, but he sure loves his Christmas partays. Doesn’t give a rip what his Muslim brethern think about it.
As I mentioned last nite, there were parties every night during December last year until they departed for their multi-million $$$ vacay in Hawaii.
Maybe he will have time to visit a mosque before they leave.

  3. Jesse Waters of Waters World should have him on: So, Barack — what kind of name is that by the way, Barack? — Today is December 7th — what happened in history on that day in 1941?

    1. I have not come across an article yet. I did see Mr. Alex Horenzy on F&F’s. Survived Pearl Harbor. He spoke well of our country than and now. Thank you Sir. God Bless all Vets.

  4. Per my dear Mother: The public didn’t hear about the attack until the next day. When the radio announced what happened, she said her co-workers had no idea where Pearl Harbor, or even Hawaii, was or why we had ships there.
Casualty reports trickled in the rest of the week, adding to the horror and fears that the Japanese were coming to the mainland.
Any Asian or Asian – looking person was picked up by the local police as potential spies or worse.

    1. There are students across America who might know where Hawaii is, but don’t know where or what Pearl Harbor is. And, of yeah, their parents too.

    2. Some history which has been forgotten: after Pearl Harbor, we discovered there had been about 260 Japanese spies living on Oahu pre-Dec. 7, who surely had been in contact with the Japanese authorities sending back information on ship locations, etc.

In addition, in the Japanese roundup in California we discovered that Japan had placed many spies around the State doing the same work–location of oil depots, location of military facilities, etc. In addition to that, several US ships between California and Hawaii had been torpedoed by the Japanese during those days. There was little doubt, the Japanese empire was getting ready to attack the mainland.

Here’s a little bit more about the Japanese spies in Hawaii.

The Japanese indeed attacked the US a second time with 5,000 (starting with 500) ground troops–this time in Alaska in June, 1942. It’s called The Forgotten Battle, but it sure enough happened.

        1. I’ll have to look that one up to view it. The 10th MD, garrisoned at Ft. Drum, NY, is a tough bunch famous for their amazing accomplishments–from WW2 through the ME battles. They practiced their ski skills from time to time in Rumford, Maine at a place called Black Mountain. Black Mountain was designed and expanded by Chummy Broomhall, whom I knew very well and who was a member of the 10th MD in WW2. Not much of a downhill mountain (but challenging enough when I used to downhill ski) , but great for cross country skiing, which is what they practiced. Of course, they do a full range of infantry activities, not just skiing. They’ve been de-mobilized and re-mobilized a number of times over the years. They’ve earned three Medal of Honors over the years.

  5. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, a borrowed comment —

“I kept telling him always: stay calm, be patient, in two years Israel will no longer exist,” the elder Farook told the newspaper.

    THERE’S your moderate muzzie. “

  6. Tuckered out from the big speech, I guess. He did look terrible–what is wrong with him with his sunken eyes and listless (to be kind) demeanor? He sucks the life force out of me just by speaking.

    1. IMO, what’s wrong with him would take more space than we’re allowed here. However, we can assume that he did not want to say those words.
About the party or performance afterwards; just once, can this President make a serious attempt to be considerate, to even appear to understand what’s going on out here in fly-over country?
He could have declined to go party, no one would have missed him.
The hundreds, maybe thousands, of survivors of the terrorist attack in CA are not partying anywhere.

        1. A CHRISTMAS party, too – with a big tree, and little trees on all the tables. MSM keeps referring to it variously as a “holiday” party, meeting, or training session.

    2. After all this time and comments about his health/looks I have decided that there is nothing physically “wrong” with him. I just think he “wears” his persona– from the “dead to reptilian in a flash” eyes, to the floppy wrists and awkward gait, the smirk, to the general ennui and condescension that inhabits every fiber of his being — He is how he looks. That is Barack Obama — it oozes from him.

      1. My theory is that Obama is a cyborg, designed and built circa late 1970’s in Bill Ayers’ basement. He’s likely ready for a hardware tuneup–new skin, modernized CPU, upgraded moving parts (elbows, knees, hips, ankles etc), better WiFi modules in his head so he does not say such incredibly stupid stuff. A composite creation, like his former girls friends.

      1. David Brat from NOVA who beat Cantor is impressive as well. He does a lot with Jeff Sessions (Sen). I don’t know much, but from what I have seen he is one conservative who so far has not been Rubioed by the GOPe.

  7. Resistance is slowly gaining ground here in Europe.
On Thursday the Danes voted to keep important exceptions from EU rules. In France the anti immigration party Front National is scoring big victories in the first round of regional elections. And over here the politicians are desperately trying with quick fixes, new laws, to keep the country from sinking because of the extreme immigration. Well, there still might be some hope, but……..
I read that Germany, during 2015, has 964 574 asylum-seekers up to today. Imagine that. And if they , and all of the other arrivals here and in the rest of Europe, are accepted , Islamization is taking many steps forward.

      1. YEA! And good on Hungary too. Although Hungary is equally anti semitic. But hey…you take it where you find it. Even the Macedonians are building walls and barricades.

  8. Shooting down a straw man, so to speak…The Wash Post:

The Supreme Court Monday declined to review the ability of cities and states to prohibit semiautomatic “assault” weapons that can carry more than 10 rounds of ammunition and have been used in some of the nation’s most deadly recent mass shootings.

  9. A new “terrorism threat level system” is coming. The idea is to have more intermediate gradations of threat–the big ones are never announced bec they require “credible” threats, and apparently no interconnections, emails, or social posts are considered more than chatter (which as I get it, means the bad guys are excited, blabbing about stuff, but no one knows exactly what). Have no idea what this amts to–if not read, yellow, or green, then what…? will it extend to the Dark Net or whatever they are worried about?

  10. After last night I think we have finally realized that Obama is hopeless, hapless and hopeless. Not a word about Pearl Harbor — We do not have a President now. He is so awful –speech was another LECTURE — be nice to Muslims after they murdered 14 working people? That Department Justice woman, ugly outside and in to threaten us with prosecution IF WE DARE TALK ABOUT THE MUSLIMS? She has the freaking gall after 14 of us shot by filthy ISLAMIC TERRORISTS!! Never in my life have I seen such a dumb and dumber administration — no warmth for the American people, no comfort, just racism on their dumb brains. Be gone with them already. He and Hillary Clinton should have been impeached a long time ago for Benghazi and breaking laws. Why were they not? Lies and crimes and they want to prosecute people? And that includes,I won’t even say her name, the puppet in the Justiced Dept. that he tells what to say every day.

  11. We very correctly see our “elected president” and what he stands for. I live in fear of him every day. But it is not him we should fear. “Somebody” voted him into (twice) the once most powerful office in the world. Think about it. There is nothing American in him.
