Some of Trump’s goons tore up signs held by protestors and bashed one of them in the head when the protestor tried to retrieve it.
The protestors were carrying some provocative signs on the sidewalk outside Trump headquarters, comparing him to the KKK and so forth. Not sure about the legality of trying to unclog the area on the sidewalk in front of a building. Seems like the obligation would be to call the police to do it.
Here’s a video report that includes the encounter. The reporter also notes that Trump left himself an out with his pledge to support the Republican nominee, saying he has no “intention” of changing his mind.

Clearly the protestor grabbed “the goon” first and got clocked.
I wonder what oppo org financed that little display of astroturf ? Those signs were professionally made and Police SHOULD have had a free speech zone for them, did they cross it?
Looks like the mob was a little out of control there in that short clip, but hey, things are different now in DiBlasio world and the NYPD being told to ignore the small stuff. Probably why Trump has to hire “goons”.
How sad; MrTrump has “goons”. Said “goons” took offensive signs from offensive non-“goons” and one of them got bonked in the head. tsk tsk
Why just yesterday, the public was informed that MrTrump couldn’t tell a media questioner the difference between the “Kurds” or the “Cuds” – ah, and he hopes to lead our country. tsk tsk.
Last week, MrTrump refused to quote his favorite passage from the Bible – tsk tsk.
A “goon”? How about a out-of-control security guard, or are we to believe that MrTrump is now the head of a criminal organization.
So any lack of knowledge and violence is nothing to see here? Not to me. I don’t know if I would say goons–doesn’t he have SS protection as a candidate? Let me know when he tangles with BLM.
Not yet,….he hasn’t been elected.
Those ‘goons’ are his security detail.
Beck has them too due to threats on him and his family’s lives.
I think, now that you mention it, that they get SS when the nominee…
Per the Secret Service website (http://www.secretservice.gov/faq.shtml#faq11) a major presidential candidate (and VP candidate) start receiving protection 120 days prior to election (although the candidate can decline said protection).
Great minds indeed srdem :)
I wish the media would ask BO or Hillary or Kerry these tough foreign policy questions. Because so far, since 2008, it’s pretty much sucked.
While Carly pulled off the responses to the same questions with knowledge and class, she was prepared. Then I can’t help but think Trump was right too, all these leaders with the funny names will change by the time the next Pres is inaugurated.
The MSM is pouncing on Trump’s Kurds/Cuds “confusion” – but did they care so much about Barry’s “57 states” comment from years ago?
Or the absolutely head shaking moment when he kept mispronouncing “corpsman”?
Or, the head shaking moment for a baseball fan, when he called Comiskey Park “Cominskey Field” – especially after claiming he was a big White Sox fan when he was “growing up” in Chicago!
My guess is the signature on the check for the signs is either a Soros or Bush.
So you’re saying Bush sent KKK signs–do you have an evidence?
No, I don’t have a “smoking gun”. Just speculation based upon past observation. We already know Soros has no problem fomenting hate and violence and when it comes to the Bush’s and politics, they can be as dirty as need to be behind the scenes when one of their own is in trouble and Jeb is definitely in trouble right now.
Kind of thin on the evidence–pure speculation.
What’s not reported is usually the bigger story. Whatever group funding the protestors sure got their money shot.
Yep, they did. And that was the whole point of it all.
“Listen closely, though, and you hear the unpredictable, and thrice married, Trump appear to give himself an out. ‘I have no intention of changing my mind,’ he said. …There was one thing, though, that Trump won’t directly address. That was a question about a poll showing a majority of Trump supporters also think President Barack Obama is a Muslim who wasn’t born in the country.”
Note to self: Listen closely. NY1 Time Warner Cable News. Aha. Got it.
Have we seen Obama’s school records yet ? That doesn’t bother anybody? ;)
Maybe the intrepid “journalists” who dug up Sarah Palin’s emails could dig into it.
The ‘protestor’ who attacked FIRST looks like one of those illegals Jeb says we should welcome with open arms.
After he attacked the “goon” who took his sign, he attacked another “goon’ who was just standing against the bldg. minding his own business.
If only we could enforce our existing immigration laws, ICE could have had a good day yesterday. Thanks Barry!!!
Looks like an illegal?
Yep, kinda like that “reporter” looked and sounded like Jorge Ramos.
He is a naturalized citizen–legal. So someone who “looks” Hispanic is now illegal?
If you live at ground zero in SoCal, it’s a 50-50 chance every hispanic is illegal.
Jorge is an activist for illegal immigration. He may have dual citienship but he is not what I consider an ‘American’. We are a nation of laws.
He is still a US citizen even if he advocates something you don’t like. Sometimes I do that–should my citizenship be revoked, too?
Just repeating what someone on the scene said – the ‘mob’ was mostly illegals protesting Trump’s anti-immigrant policy.
He did grab him from behind. Anyone that would grab me from behind, I would do the same. Immediate reflex.
“If people in the media cannot decide whether they are in the business of reporting news or manufacturing propaganda, it is all the more important that the public understand that difference, and choose their news sources accordingly.” -Thomas Sowell
Perfect. I am completely fed up with elitist pundits and commenters and, most of all, “news” people telling us the proper way to think about an issue, what is an acceptable opinion and what is not acceptable, what is to believed and what is to be mocked. Tired of it. Not putting up with it.
Remember this: the drug cartels have a $100,000,000 bounty on Trump’s head. That amount of money is going to attract a lot of nuts and “protesters” to Trump’s physical presence in the hope of killing him and winning the big reward. Can’t say it any plainer than that. His security detail ain’t fooling around and they want that message to be understood clearly.
Let’s Make Mexico Great Again!
Some last words on this; for 6 years, we’ve had to defend ourselves from the accusations, name-calling by everyone in the liberal media, the one-issue wackos, and even the POTUS.
Now, we are feeling obligated to defend a billionaire who owns his own jet from the same liberal bully tactics in the interest of fairness and American values.
Words matter. A security guard is not a goon, people who attend a political rally are not crazy, we are not appalling, stupid, ill-educated, racist, or even terrorists.
We are law-abiding citizens who expect everyone to play fair, and our elected officals to enforce our current laws whatever they might be.
I say – STOP – let the electoral process run it’s course without trying to shape the opinions, change the rules or bully the public into a certain mindset.
Just stop. Please.
..expect elected officials to enforce (or execute) our laws–yes, Kim Davis. If her religious beliefs conflict with her office, this is her personal problem–make a decision. And Huckabee is smoking something if he thinks every Supreme Court decision needs to be accompanied by an enabling law–where did he get that? He is another one–if you listen to him, your brain starts to shrink.
I recommend that you re-size your brain and read Scalia’s dissent on the gay marriage ruling in order to understand Huckabee’s stand on the issue. Huckabee is right.
Or you can take the easy route and read this:
In an even smaller nutshell (for the shrunken brain): The ruling should never have been made by the Supreme Court at all. In effect, it was law-making by the judicial branch.
Gavin Newsom married gay couples when it was against federal and state law and they never threw his pretty boy butt in jail. To say nothing of sanctuary cities.
This judge could have chosen to fine this woman. He did not.
I don’t think this country should be ruled by the Supreme Court. We have federal and state legislatures. Use them.
What race is Mexican
So, when you protest, you don’t expect anyone to do anything to you. Your protest is a sign of a threat to your opposition. I take it that you think that your opposition is just going to sit there and take your protest lying down. This is demonstrating that America’s political protest are becoming meaningless if a protester, protest any response towards their actions. It stupid to think that if you stand up for something that you will not be affronted. The idea of meaningful protest is to not only show a sign by risk your life as well. If you are afraid of risking your life, your protest is meaningless.
