As of now, I am in control here, in the White House

  1. Still-great — sounds like the compliment that a fading women is still beautiful.

God bless our nation and send us the leaders that we need.

  2. Happy 4th to you and yours, Keith. And to all WHD patriots. It’s a day to celebrate our freedom…and the heck with those who want to take it away from us.

One story is dominating the news, and for good reason. The heinous murder of a beautiful young woman by a 5x deported illegal alien convicted felon who was never turned over to ICE following his prison release in March.

The local news here in SoCal is abuzz with talk about ‘how could this happen’, and the local ordinance that forbids releasing convicts to ICE. Everyone is horrified!

One ingredient in the reporting, however, is missing. Donald Trump! If ever anyone deserves an apology, it’s the Donald. He is 110% correct about these people we know nothing about. Obama has the blood of this poor young woman all over his hands. San Fran Nan, too.

Hopefully, the tragic murder of this innocent young woman will be the match to light the fire under the feet of every American. Obama must be held accountable for his illegal act, and his policies reversed! ASAP

    • As sad as that is, it’s just one more criminal act that didn’t get justice for the family.
Imagine the horrors of Arizona residents as drug cartels, coyotes, criminals escaping (or released) from Mexico, and all their needs trashing a whole state that doesn’t have the population of NYC.
If you see a demonstration against deportation of illegals, you won’t see native Hispanic/Arizonans in that crowd. The locals, residents for untold generations, don’t want the illegals here either.

      • I agree, srdem65. We have Hispanic friends that are very against all this illegal immigration. Also, the illegals we had 50 years ago were of better character than all the felons and sex offenders we have today.

  3. I miss hearing the pop pop pop when I open my eyes on the Fourth. Kids getting a jump on this most dangerous and explosive of hols…but no more. I even blogged on how to keep all your fingers. I am such a sellout. I envy people with those home-made parades and illicit driveway fireworks displays–see LUDLOW KISSEL AND THE DAGO BOMB–Jean Shepherd.

        • Let’s see: “beware of he who would pit us against each other through class warfare, race hatred or religious intolerance.”
          Sure does ring a bell…

          • Wow, I hadn’t even scrolled down before watching the video and that’s the exact part that I transcribed and was going to post here:

“When anybody preaches disunity, tries to pit one of us against the other through class warfare, race hatred, or religious intolerance, you know that person seeks to rob us of our freedom and destroy our very lives.”

            Sure does sound familiar!

          • Yes… it’s all about “diversity” today—a concept I detest. Why? Here’s the origin of the word diversity”:

Wickedness, perversity,” from Latin diversitatem (nominative diversitas) “contrariety, contradiction, disagreement.

And that’s exactly how the Progressive use it today.

    • The film is only 9 minutes long, yet it captures exactly what was to come. The film was made in a time when a general knowledge of our history, and an understanding of how we got to where we are as a country, was commonplace and celebrated. How long ago that seems.
If a teacher were to show that film now to a class, that teacher would be reported to authorities and Obama’s Department of Education SWAT Team would swoop down, arrest the teacher and confiscate the film. Anyone doubt that?

How sad that the young folks are not being taught anything described in that film. No wonder we get college students unable to explain what July 4th is all about. Our youngsters have been done a tremendous disservice, and they don’t even know it. Yet.

      • “How sad that the young folks are not being taught anything described in that film.”

Don’t worry, Marcus. Many of us are home educators and our kids are learning that and much more. I show my son every one of those articles and the video clips of the man on the street interviews where average Americans are completely clueless about our country’s history as well as current national and international news, (like the one that I posted yesterday about July 4th). My son is continually shocked and disgusted by the pathetic lack of knowledge, and concern, that these college kids and even older adults display. Even at his age (almost 15), I would be mortified if he weren’t able to answer the questions posed in those clips.

    • Beautiful! Thanks for posting it, dhop.

It worries and saddens me that this very important part seems to be forgotten by both Democrats and Republicans these days:

“And to the republic – a state in which sovereign power is invested in representatives chosen by the people to govern. And government is the people and it’s from the people to the leaders, not from the leaders to the people.”

  4. Still great and getting greater with the clock ticking down on Fairy Barry’s attempts to “radically transform blah blah “

  5. Venezuela is the Greece of South America. Things are going from worst to worst. Venezuela owes $1 billion to businesses in Panama. Panama is floating the idea that since Venezuela can not pay with dollars then Panama would accept crude oil and natural gas instead.

Countries such as Nicaragua depend on Venezuela. Expect them to hurt also.

  6. Nearly 10,000 American troops overseas are getting a slice of American pie for Independence Day.
Chicago-based Pizza 4 Patriots is sending 5,500 pizzas to troops in Afghanistan and Kuwait to give them a taste of home on the 4th of July.
The pizzas were donated by Buffalo-based Rich Products and delivered by DHL Express.
Pizzas 4 Patriots was created in 2008 when retired Master Sergeant Mark Evans and his son Kent had the idea to deliver freshly frozen pizzas to U.S. troops serving to show appreciation for their service.

  7. July 4th…not a good holiday for me…
stuck at home after emergency surgery with a colostomy bag
(sorry if thats too much info…just stuck home feeling depressed)

  8. For me the 4th of July is my Thanksgiving Day. When I ponder what some rebels did back in the middle 1700 that I have enjoyed my whole life. Then Grandpa use to say; ” if you’re not living in the USA, then you’re camping out!”

  9. Obama’s Fourth of July Address to America Omits One Very Big Word

President Obama’s 2015 Fourth of July address to America had its good points.

He honored and thanked the men and women of the U.S. armed forces, noting that he invited several hundred of them and their families to the White House’s backyard barbecue.

He remembered the “founding patriots” who declared America’s independence 239 years ago and proclaimed “that all of us are created equal, endowed by our Creator with certain unalienable rights including the rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.”

But at the very end, when presidents — including Obama — usually sign off with some form of “May God bless the United States of America,” he offered a different finishing touch.

    One that left God out.

Obama ended it like so: “Thanks, everybody. From my family to yours, have a safe and happy Fourth of July.”

In fact, Obama didn’t mention “God” once in his address — though some might give him points for “Creator.”

    You be the judge.
