In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

  1. Congratulations to Army Sgt. Shemin and Private Johnson. Thank you.

OT The formidable Loretta Lynch, having slain the football/soccer dragon and cleaned out that den of inequity is now going after Movie Theaters. It is unlikely that she will have time to get to immigration or the IRS with such a schedule.

I anticipate more movie theaters coming to burned out Baltimore, and Ferguson. I anticipate more minority films everywhere. And oh yes, if ticket prices can go up they will — but only for certain “folks”.

  2. Barry was at a town hall meeting Monday and there he said :” I have restored the United States as the most respected country on Earth”. ( Drudge Report )

    1. He is delusional! Only a madman would spend all of his time traveling around the country to spin his own deplorable record as President to a hand-picked audience of mushy brained students.

When he is not spreading propaganda, he is lolling around the WH scheming up ways to bypass Congress. Latest case in point: Gun control legislation via the DOJ.

The Obama Monarchy is alive and well!

        1. So has Dr. Krauthammer. Yesterday or maybe earlier today, he asked (based on Obama’s statement), “What planet is this guy living on?”

    2. I have read two articles about his comment and they just mentioned it on Fox.
When he gives the two men the medal honor will he speak of their success and bravery, or will he rant about his (so-called) success?

      1. As is his habit at such events, Obama will talk about himself, use self-referencing comments, mispronounce several words, and give himself credit for inspiring Sergeant Shemin and Private Johnson to their acts of bravery. (yes, we know both earned the Award during WW1, but history has never been Obama’s area of knowledge.)

At any rate, here’s a nice write up about the two awardees describing what they did to earn the Medal of Honor. Bless them both. Brave men.

        1. Thanks for placing the clip.
I pressed post comment before I placed the web address for the site I was reading. Yes I agree, he will go on and on about everything, instead of the fine men being honored.

  3. I just heard a comment that o made:
He said he doesn’t violate his prinicples and he never engages in a politics in which he is trying to divide people.
Is he practicing to be a stand up comedian?

  4. Sgt William Shemin repeatedly dodged gunfire to pull wounded comrades to safety during three days of battle.
Private Henry Johnson rescued a wounded comrade from his regiment while single-handedly fighting off a surprise German attack.
They were both WWI heros, one jewish and one black.

  5. By his official schedule’s own admission, this is two hours worth of work.

What could this man be doing with the rest of his day?
