  1. Some info on the State dinner:

I see they’re back to having “celebrity chefs” again, as if the professional WH chefs can’t handle it. This time it’s Iron Chef Morimoto. The article has a photo and description of his “Toro Tartare and Caesar Sashimi Salad.” That is the most ridiculous presentation of a salad that I’ve ever seen. FFS, it’s just a salad! The main course is wagyu beef, of course.

Also Moochelle will be debuting her new china pattern which, rather than celebrating the WH, honors her husband with its “Kailua Blue” color:

Hmm, I wonder if Baltimore will again be burning tomorrow night as hundreds party it up at the WH.

  2. Do you think Japan will attack China on that island where the Chinese built the runway?

That’s the question I would ask Abe. However, I’m sure our taxpayer dollars just went into food, smiles, food, smiles, food, smiles, car gas, security, food smiles

  3. WHY was Obummer’s official schedule empty on Monday when he actually had two meetings? He went with PM Abe of Japan to the Lincoln Memorial, (with Ambassador Caroline Kennedy also). Then, when he returned to the WH he met with new Attorney General Lynch and flipped the bird to the WH press corps yet again by not allowing press coverage, just a still photographer:

By excluding reporters, TV and Radio from Oval Office photo op, Pres Obama & AG Lynch avoid questions on rioting in Baltimore.

  4. I just read the article on the events in Baltimore. It is almost incredible. These people say that they want the police to be reasonable and respectful and so they attack, loot, burn and riot. Very logical indeed. It will not exactly benefit the racial stereotypes. It looks like the events take place somewhere in Lagos, Nigeria, however people are probably not as spoilt and lost there. I read an excellent sarcastic comment on the Net : ” What I like best about the Obama presidency is the racial healing…….”. Yes indeed, he is really doing his best , isn´t he ?

  5. First El Jefe will ask Abe how he “fixed” the Japanese economy. Then he’ll probably tell a bad Godzilla joke. Then he’s off to agitate Baltimore a bit.

  6. Will he weigh in on Baltimore or let Lynch do his talking today? What a mess, senior citizen center and a Baptist church burning, no control. Where are the leaders?
