In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

  1. TERRIFIC cartoon! Now if only more of the ignorant electorate KNEW what Monroe Doctrine is (guess I should say WAS)and were aware that Obamnable Show Man has obliterated it. Hmmm? Mayhap he’s practicing for a move on Our Constitution?

    1. Yes, I’d love to see a man on the street interview by Jesse Waters of the O’Reilly Show. I think it would take him many, many hours to find someone who even heard of the Monore Doctrine, let alone could explain what it is.

        1. Sadly, I bet a lot of these younger people Waters questions barely even know who Marilyn Monroe is, (let alone Joe DiMaggio). Just like their Dear Leader who said in Panama over the weekend regarding Cuba, “I’m not interested in having battles, frankly, that began before I was born”, these people really do not care about anything or anyone who existed before they were born.

          1. I heard him say “If you’ve been doin’ somethin’ for 50 years and it’s not workin’, then it’s time to try somrthin’ else. So, since someone has been tryin’ Communism for 98 years and it’s NEVER worked, maybe it’s time HE tried somethin’ else!! But then, I’m just White Folks, so whadda I know”

  2. Way off topic;
    So I’m watching Korean Broadcasting Channel and catch a student being interviewed. Her complaint is that no translators are available when the school calls her parents to inform them of school matters.
    The student is of Asian decent and her parents only speek Korean, thusly she wants the Government provide this service.
    Interview was taken during a demonstration in Chicago.
    I ask, what’s next. Esperanto?

    1. Korean Broadcasting Channel. What, you’re trying to keep up with the antics of Kim Jong-Un? And all silliness aside, I share your frustration with the widespread expectation that we have to take complete care of everything for everybody. Ooh. Just realized, that’s what the Democrats have been promising for decades!!
