  1. OT – I’m not sure whether this has been posted here yet, as I’m still behind on reading all the comments.

    Apparently, Moochelle flew up to NY this week to tape an appearance on the Jimmy Fallon Show. More ridiculous dancing, just a couple of weeks after her humiliating performance on the Ellen show:

    Michelle Obama and Jimmy Fallon did the ‘Evolution of Mom Dancing Part 2′

    Michelle Obama did the second installment of “Evolution of Mom Dancing” with Jimmy Fallon on “The Tonight Show” Thursday.
    It included such moves as the “Shush and Tush,” the “Getting A Bag From Your Collection Of Plastic Bags Under The Sink,” and the “You Go, Girl.” Classic.

  2. By the way, there’s video at that WaPo link that I just posted above.

    Also, here:

    Do you feel that on the wind? It’s Malia and Sasha Obama actively cringing at the fact that the FLOTUS has returned to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to strut her mom-inspired dance moves.

    Michelle Obama, 51, joined host Jimmy Fallon on Thursday in an encore performance of “The Evolution of Mom Dancing,” the first round of which aired in February 2013.

    This year’s appearance was in honor of the fifth anniversary of Obama’s “Let’s Move!” anti-obesity campaign and featured all of the moves your mom loved to break out while chaperoning your middle school dance.

    From the “This Ol’ Thing? I Got It at Talbots” to the “One Move Behind in Zumba Class,” Obama has surely given daughters Malia, 16, and Sasha, 13, enough secondhand-embarrassment material to last them throughout their teenage years.

  3. 12:07 AM? Keith either up early or late to bed? Thanks for the Easter wishes. To the God who always was, no measure of time like us. Praises and thanksgiving. May blessings be on you and yours. And all who look for your insights daily.

    • Thanks AFVet. This was posted last night. I chose to skip and watch a happy rerun and go to sleep.
      Yes she speaks loud and clear. People thinking of running for President should listen to her a couple of times.

  4. This is Holy Week for Christians.
    Amidst all of the turmoil going on in the world, take pause to know that God is with us.

    He already knows the outcome of the foolish policies man creates, and yet, He lets His children play, watching with amusement from on high.

    He is risen, he is risen indeed.

    May the Lord bless thee and keep thee,
    May the Lord make His Face shine upon thee and be gracious unto thee,
    May the Lord lift up his countenance upon thee and give thee peace.

  5. Thank you, Keith. Happy Passover!

    “God sent His son, they called Him, Jesus;
    He came to love, heal and forgive;
    He lived and died to buy my pardon,
    An empty grave is there to prove my Savior lives!

    Because He lives, I can face tomorrow,
    Because He lives, all fear is gone;
    Because I know He holds the future,
    And life is worth the living,
    Just because He lives!”

    -Bill Gaither, “Because He Lives”

  6. Best wishes to all for a Happy Easter. Keith, thanks for the picture of the beautiful painted Easter eggs. Ukranian? My dad gave me two when I was just a kid, and I still treasure them.

  7. Well, chocolate OF COURSE. My offspring got me a bagful! And a stuffed chicken… I don’t have a church in AZ, but I still remember the sanctuary filled with flowers and joyous balloons back in DC! Happy!
