President Obama, like most liberals, is under the unfortunate and rather self-indulgent misimpression that the rest of the world is just like us.
That’s why Obama and his friends have a hard time being American exceptionalists. That’s why they trust, but aren’t really serious about verify, and to the extent they are, they blithely assume that someone’s going to let them in to verify in the first place. That’s why they don’t see anything wrong with subsuming the country within horde after horde of illegal immigration. Because ultimately, we’re all the same deep down inside, aren’t we?
But are populations that seek to murder other populations the same as us, even, ya know, underneath it all? I sure hope not.
During his press conference this week with Afghan President Ghani, Obama offered his latest glimpse into the attitude the underlies his hope for partnership with the Iranians and the moral equivalence he attaches to the two sides of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict:
But I am required to evaluate honestly how we manage Israeli-Palestinian relations over the next several years. Because up until this point, the premise has been, both under Republican and Democratic administrations, that as different as it was, as challenging as it was, the possibility of two states living side by side in peace and security could marginalize more extreme elements, bring together folks at the center and with some common sense, and we could resolve what has been a vexing issue and one that is ultimately a threat to Israel as well.
The presupposes that “folks at the center” among the Palestinians have goodwill and “some common sense.” But in reality, these folks have some very disconcerting views.
According to a just-released poll of Palestinians by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research, sixty eight percent support the launching of rockets from the Gaza Strip at Israel if the current security blockade imposed by Israel is not lifted. The blockade was established as a protective measure after the Palestinians voted Hamas, a terrorist organization devoted to the destruction of Israel, into the government and then Hamas seized full control of Gaza.

Half of Palestinians polled support resumption of an armed Intifada, which mainly involves targeting and killing Israeli civilians.
Seventy four percent favor the “Hamas way” of resisting occupation, and 56 percent favor the transfer of Hamas’ armed approach to the West Bank.
Only half of Palestinians polled support a two-state solution, with the other half presumably hoping to drive Israelis into the sea and reclaim the whole place for the Arabs. AND JUST BECAUSE ONE SUPPORTS A TWO-STATE SOLUTION IN THE SHORT RUN DOESN’T MEAN THE ULTIMATE GOAL ISN’T A SINGLE STATE. It is. Talk to almost any Muslim Arab.
Only 39 percent support recognition of Israel as the state for the Jewish people in return for an Israeli recognition of Palestine as the state for the Palestinian people.
Most Palestinians do not support negotiations with Israel. Thirty seven percent believe that armed confrontation is the most effective route to statehood, 30 percent support “non-violent resistance,” and just 29 percent back negotiation.
Obama exists in his own world of presumptuous fantasies. The Israelis actually have to live in Israel, surrounded by Palestinians and other hostile Arabs, which is why they elected Netanyahu, despite Obama’s objections.

And this FREEDOM dictates that it is RIGHT , a right, to be free to worship ANY god…whether “Christian…Catholic, Protestant, Anglican, Baptist, Mormon, etc”, whether “Muslim…Shiite, Sunni, ISIL, or other”, whether Buddhist, or Hindu, or Atheism, or Satanism, or homosexual rights, or free speech, or pro choice / pro life, or fornication, adultery, capitalism, communism…and the list goes on.
BUT the Lord Jesus Christ said that we are to worship the One Lord your Creator and Him Alone to serve in obedience and love… love for Him first and foremost and love for, TO DO GOOD to, the fellow man (friend or foe).
The desire for self-freedom is darkening and eclipsing the light of the truth and soon it will be worshipped by man to be between and above all mankind and the Holy Tabernacle of the One Creator.
Jesus Christ said to repent, change and follow Him.. for through Him our debts of sin are paid in our place…but we must change, become new beings – to be our brother’s keeper / to do good, and serve the One Truth.

Sorry, I’m not a believer in anything other than God (in whom I believe to the very core of my being). But I think you bring up a very good point in that people exercising THEIR freedom of religion shouldn’t be allowed to stifle OTHERS trying to exercise THEIR religion. By unilaterally deciding to conduct government business on her own private server, she willfully concealed government documents during her entire term as SoS. Throughout the four years, she never shared the information with the government, acting as if putting it all on her own server transformed it from government property to her own personal property. Then, she left in early 2013 and never turned anything over to the State Dept, even though she knew damn well that all of the documents belonged to the government.
It’s outrageous that when the State Dept. finally requested her docs, (due to the Benghazi investigation), in October 2014, that she was allowed to go through it all and decide what she wanted to turn over and then deleted a huge amount of emails that she claims were “personal”. She should have been ordered to turn over EVERYTHING as she left the State Dept, and then been given back copies of whatever was deemed personal.
It’s all such bullcrap and anyone with a brain knows that she is a lying thief who set up this server from the very beginning of her tenure as SoS with the main objective of concealing and controlling all her communications as SoS. And, it’s absolutely sickening that she’s going to get away with it. She should be completely disqualified from even being a candidate, let alone POTUS. She’ a damn criminal!!

Gowdy does not have the power to seize the server. He only has subpoena power that allows them to demand documents. Our justice department has allowed Mrs Clinton and her aids plenty of time to cleanse the documents that were given to state and destroy the remainder of the evidence.
Hillary could still be impeached for her actions while SOS. A punishment for her actions could be that she could not seek any office in the federal government. We all know the Democrats in the Senate will never allow this to occur.

“If she were anybody else, they’d be investigating her for obstruction of justice,” Mitchell, who represented several conservative groups in the IRS targeting scandal, told Newsmax. “If anyone over at the Justice Department were doing anything, they’d be investigating her for obstruction of justice.”

Mitchell told Newsmax that the emails should have been preserved, because Congress has been investigating Benghazi since late 2012. House Speaker John Boehner established Gowdy’s committee last year.
“There were investigations that were ongoing, and there were requests from Congress well before she and her attorneys decided to delete emails,” she said.
In civil proceedings, for instance, Mitchell said that a “litigation hold” suspends the destruction of any information that could be related to a case. The order would very likely apply to congressional inquiries and other investigations.
“These people know that,” she said. “They’re just used to obeying ‘Clinton law’ [rather] than United States law. It’s what they do.
“They just assume that if they stonewall and look people in the eye and say, ‘We’re not going to obey the law; we’re not going to do what everybody else would have to do’ — that they’ll get away with it. They usually do.
“They think they’re above the law,” Mitchell said. “It’s just breathtaking. No one else in America could get away with the things they get away with. Breathtaking.”

I use to press news at the top in the white square. Than a new screen would appear with choices of what part of the world I wanted press than read. I do not see that choice anymore.
I noticed yesterday on the right side their was a box (In red) that stated Sections.
When I pressed that a list of choices appeared: US & Canada, World, UK.
However the ME, and other places are not listed.
