  1. I would love to see an exchange between Scott Walker and the President at the National Governors Association. But as Dana Carvey imitating #41. “Not gonna happen”.

  2. Ugh, look at Wednesday. Obummer’s traveling to Miami to do some more campaigning and demonizing of those mean Republicans:

Schedule for the Week of February 23, 2015

On Monday, the President will meet with the National Governors Association. In the afternoon, the President will participate in an Ambassador Credentialing Ceremony in the Oval Office. At this event, the President will receive the credentials from foreign Ambassadors recently posted in Washington. The presentation of credentials is a traditional ceremony that marks the formal beginning of an Ambassador’s service in Washington.

On Tuesday, the President will host the Amir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al Thani, at the White House. The President looks forward to discussing with Sheikh Tamim political, economic, and security issues of mutual concern to our two countries. The United States and Qatar have a long-standing partnership, and this meeting is an opportunity to further that relationship along with our shared interest in supporting stability and prosperity in the Middle East.

On Wednesday, the President will travel to Miami, Florida to participate in an immigration town hall hosted by Telemundo and MSNBC. Further details about the President’s travel to Florida will be made available in the coming days.

On Thursday, the President will attend meetings at the White House. In the evening, President and the First Lady will host a reception celebrating Black History Month in the East Room.

On Friday, the President will welcome President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf of Liberia to the White House. President Sirleaf’s visit comes at a time of critical cooperation between the United States and Liberia. The President looks forward to building on a strong and historic partnership with Liberia and discussing a range of topics with President Sirleaf, including the ongoing Ebola response, the region’s economic recovery plans, and other issues of mutual interest.

  4. Regarding the “remarks” Obummer is making at 2:05 at AARP, it looks like more than “remarks” but some announcement from the Dictator-in-Chief. Mark Knoller tweeted:

    Mark Knoller @markknoller
Tomorrow afternoon: Pres Obama visits @AARP Headquarters to make “a new consumer protection announcement.”
    8:09pm – 22 Feb 15

    • Your post made me curious whether we’d see more fake doctors in fake white coats in the backdrop. However, it looks as if Obama wants to protect our retirement accounts now. Bless his heart.

The President will deliver remarks at AARP’s headquarters at noon regarding a new consumer protection announcement, which is widely believed to be the DOL’s long awaited fiducairy rule, according to sources familiar with the matter. The proposed rule would require advisors overseeing retirement plans to act under a fiduciary standard, putting client interests ahead of all other considerations when making investment recommendations on accounts covered under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act.

  5. Exclusive Obama comments from today:
10:00 – dang it’s early, how’s my fantasy jihad team doing today? Did y’all get some more intel on that cocaine shipment coming into Texas. I got some big plans when we seize it.
11:10 – (Publicly) All you Republicans are a bunch of sexist, racist, 1%er pigs // (Privately) Thanks for getting Obamacare up and running… and big props for common core. I love it when a plan comes together.
12:30 – Joe! Quit molesting every woman you see! You’re like the creepy uncle who looks down shirts at the family reunion and farts at the dinner table, then blames it on the dog. But, hey man, I love you. You are the only thing stopping me from being impeached.
2:05 – What can I say? I love you guys for backing Obamacare. I hope your getting a windfall of profits from your insurance scams…doh, I mean products. And I love your organizational skills. Suckering all those elderly people into thinking you care. An automatic enrollment at 55. That’s good stuff.
5:15 – Now, do as I say for deal with my drones or worse… NSA … maniacal laugh…

  6. Well, here’s Obama “delivering remarks” again today. The country would be better off if Barry was “delivering pizzas”, wouldn’t it? “Ding dong! Pizza’s here”.

    • Knowing him, he’d be very late delivering the pizza and the pizza would be cold. Also, you do not get to choose your pizza toppings. Barry will decide for you what he thinks you need on your pizza. And, don’t be surprised if a few slices are missing because he redistributed your pizza to some who are less fortunate than you. C’mon, everyone’s gotta pay his fair share. Speaking of that, his tip has already been added to your bill. It’s Barry’s world, ya know.

  7. Undoubtedly, his remarks to the Governors will include a report on the greatest threat we face – the ‘sovereign citizen extremists’.
These domestic ‘terrorists’ will henceforth be known as the USA ‘Varsity Team’.

    • Forgot to mention that his dear friends and co-conspirators, Bill Ayers and Bernadette Dorhn, are honorary members of the SCE after their failed attempt to blow up the Pentagon.

  8. More on today’s announcement at AARP, from Mark Knoller’s tweets:

    Mark Knoller @markknoller
Today at the @AARP, Pres Obama announces a proposed rule to require retirement account advisors to act in the clients financial interests.
    8:36am – 23 Feb 15

WH officials says some retirement financial advisers make recommendations more in their interests than those of their clients.
    8:36am – 23 Feb 15

The proposals is headed for a period of public comment. No estimate when the rule, if approved, might take affect.
    8:37am – 23 Feb 15

    • Uh…when has Obama ever acted in the ‘financial interest’ of his constituents? I smell a rat. Whats next? Is he going to nationalize our 401Ks and pension plans?

      • I know. Something’s not making sense here. Financial advisors already have a fiduciary responsibility to their clients.

Btw – after those tweets I posted, Mark Knoller tweeted this point:

Many retirees suffer because of Federal Reserve actions holding down interest rates keeping savings accounts earning well under 1%.
        8:40am – 23 Feb 15

        • The issue of no word of when it will take affect is of major concern as well. Some people may want to at least be aware with this, and pay a fine, than hide everything under a mattress.

        • Boy, oh boy…do I ever miss the Jimmy Carter days when interest rates were 18-20%. Of course one had to be a saver…but retirees were in seventh heaven. A simple compounded interest rate savings acct would double in less than five years!
Today, seniors are losing $$$ thanks to Obama. And it looks like he is coming for our retirement funds!
