In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

Bachmann Tells Obama: Bomb Iran

Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn, told President Obama directly this week that he needed to bomb Iran, and that if he didn’t, Iran would gain a nuclear weapons and it would be his fault.

Bachmann, who spoke with Obama at the White House Christmas party, did not seek reelection and is retiring from Congress this year.

According to the Washington Free Beacon:

Despite the objections of her family members, who didn’t want to be embarrassed, Bachmann said she wanted to give some “substantive comments” to the president. She waited until pictures were taken and her family walked off the stage.

“I turned to the president and I said, something to the effect of, ‘Mr. President, you need to bomb the Iranian nuclear facilities, because if you don’t, Iran will have a nuclear weapon on your watch and the course of world history will change,’” she told the Washington Free Beacon.

“And he got his condescending smile on his face and laughed at me and said, ‘Well Michele, it’s just not that easy.’ And I said to him, ‘No, Mr. President, you’re the president, it will happen on your watch, and you’ll have to answer to the world for this.’ And that was it and then I left. Merry Christmas,” she said with a laugh.

Well, she did what she had to do. But he will never do what he has to do.

  1. Anyone who believes that Hussein DOESN’T want Iran to have a bomb is living in a fantasy world. The Prophet Obama would be thrilled to have a bomb hit Dallas or some other major red state city. Then, The One We Have Been Waiting For will surrender to Iran and all will be right in His Islamic World.

  2. I heard on Fox last night he stepped away from the Xmas party to chat talk to someone regarding how they will vote last night.
Regarding Bachmann I appreciate her being upfront with the comment.
Now what about everyone one else yesterday? All those phone calls that o and others made, What was stated?
Any want to take a guess on what he said?

  3. Yes we should all listen to the woman who stated that we should not pay our debt even though we made our obligations financially since the American Revolutionary War. This woman is such a joke she needed to retire or face losing in one of the most Republican districts in the country. Please get off the stage and never come back. Ever.
