In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

    1. I put this on a new thread, but Walker is complaining that Chris Christie who is the head of the Republican governors has not given Walker enough money for air time. Does Christie view Walker as a potential threat to the 2016 nomination?

  1. Not even a token appearance at anything remotely connected to the US government? This is beyond despicable and he should be called out on using AF 1 as his private plane.

And yet no one does it. No Letters to the Editor? They are remarkably effective…

        1. The co-owners of SURG Restaurant Group of Oak Creek, WI, whose Umami Moto location is hosting the sushi fundraiser, gave $6900 to Hillary Clinton’s campaign in 2008 (Michael Polaski, per OpenSecrets) and $5,750.00 to Scott Walker (Omar Shaikh, per Wisconsin Democracy Campaign) in 2010. Walker is the twice-elected governor that Burke (and the Unionista left) is trying to unseat.

Online campaign finance reports show no contributions to Obama or Burke from either Polaski or Shaikh. So why Umami Moto? And why aren’t the taxpayers entitled to an accounting of who these 25 people are who will pay $16K p/head to eat spicy tuna handrolls with Burke and Obama?

      1. Just pockets of them.. around Madison, Milwaukee, and cities sliding down along the lake shoreline towards Chicago. And yes very rabid. I have some here in the county I live in. Most of the large cities here have the dem #’s of voters to overpower the rest of the state, if and when they vote. And yes we have seen the vans pulling people in to get them to vote, and vote often. I was so happy to see Voter ID approved for this election however lost due to the Supreme’s emergency stay. Plus allot of us are tired, the election cycle then recall cycle have left allot of us numb.. I receive at least 3-4 calls from the unions a day.. pushing for Burke. Most of them are the teachers union. I can just imagine how bad it is down in the South side of the state.

        1. I live in Madison. The hatred toward Walker here goes beyond derangement. The left is mobilized and Burke will likely win thanks to forced turnout in Madison, Milwaukee, and Racine. Four years of character assassination from the Milwaukee DA’s office, the state Legacy Media, and most recently, Milwaukee County Exec Chris Abele have taken their toll on Walker. Advocacy groups and even individuals are afraid to fund or even to speak out on behalf of Walker for fear they’ll be drawn into the next John Doe investigation. I worked for the Walker campaign in 2010, and a little bit on the Recall, but I can tell you from my own experience that I am very selective in how I’m willing to expose myself on Walker’s behalf this time around. I have been outed in countless e-mails made public by document dump after document dump (under my real name, of course) and have had threats to my home and business. The left has all but silenced the grassroots support we saw for Walker in 2010 with their aggressive witch-hunts. The only voice we left left is our ballots, but I fear the left will out-mobilize us, this time around. Which will really be quite sad in the message it sends to reform candidates, going forward.

  2. And while we deal with ISIS, Ebola, and the absolute disarray of the Obama Administration, the nation of islam headed by Obama’s Chicago neighbor and friend Louis Farrakhan work their filth through the schools with nary a slap in the hands or sleight glance by the FBI or DOJ.

    At a school in Tennessee:

    1. That anything associated with the NoI is in public schools is alarming enough, but the scariest part is the claim that the school forbids students from taking home certain papers!

And, which is the truth: that the teacher “printed it by mistake” or, as claimed by the superintendent, that the kid stole something that the teacher had thrown away yet was still on her desk? If she had “printed it by mistake” why did she print more than one copy?

    1. The visit to WI is linked on my server’s homepage. If the top comments are any indication – he better keep the plane running and wear track shoes.

      1. I wonder how akward and frigid that “parent”/teacher meet was? (because the Obama’s seem like such self-centered parents)

    1. The time stamp on the White House’s original photo post on Twitter has been changed from “2:45PM” to “12:45” PM. This administration will be remembered for the manner in which it revised every ounce of its history, even the seemingly meaningless.
