In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

Koffler Back on the TV, Talking About Dems Fleeing Obama

Just wanted to show you my latest incursion onto people’s TV screens, which occurred Thursday.

I was on the One America News Network’s Rick Amato show talking about Democratic Senate candidates treating President Obama like he’s got Ebola.

One point I brought up that I don’t hear much – what about a sense of honor? I mean, even outside observers seem to think that, while it’s remarkable, it’s certainly understandable that Democrats wouldn’t want to be associated with President Obama.

Really? Yhe guy is traveling around the country raising money for these candidates, he is the leader of their party, and his policies are exactly what Democrats ordered – lots of government, and withdrawal from the world. Plus, Obama gave them socialized medicine, the liberal dream of the past half century.

And they don’t even have the sense of decency to stand with him, even if it hurts a bit. And everyone thinks it aright?

OAN is on AT&T U-verse on channels 208 standard definition and 1208 high def; VerizonFiOS at 116 SD and 616 HD; and CenturyLink on 209 SD and 1209 HD.

  1. Plus those who are running as incumbents all voted for his policies over 90% of the time. It amazes me that voters can let them get away with that.

  3. The H-word? You dare use the H-word when talking about our elected Dems? No wonder the FCC wants to silence all of us.
On one level, the Os and their minions understand that it’s more important that these Dems be re-elected or beat out a Repub for Congress and of course, the all important Governorships. It must gall though, and it takes a lot of duplicity to pretend that it doesn’t hurt when your own, um, disown you and the policies that they voted for.
No matter how hard Mr & Mrs O pretend that they’re supporting the Dems they’re stumping for, they let out some of the most awful gaffes, intentional or not.

IMO, the greater problem is that the ruling class of Dems know that the peons don’t like what they’ve done, don’t approve of the various laws or regulations coming out of DC, but they carry on – thinking they’re leading a public when in reality, the public is not following.
How can a moral or honorable pubically elected official promote and support ideas and an agenda that the people who elected them don’t want, is the question.
Honor is a heavy burden to the Dems and something they don’t seem to be able to carry.

  4. There is no honor among thieves. And besides, If these stupid Dems in the Senate couldn’t see the handwriting on the wall with Obamacare, every one of them deserves to be fired next month. They can run, but they can’t hide. We have their names and license numbers.

  5. Good show Keith.

The Democrats in their denial of Obama are unprincipled power hungry scoundrels who nonetheless backed him 100% on this fundamental transformation of America and now are too cowardly to own up to it.

That said, I don’t see Obama doing them any favors — whatever he does benefits himself primarily and the scraps fall to the dogs. They know this.

  6. One more thing….how much is Obama skimming off the top? ‘Creative Accounting’ is his specialty, or that of the people he surrounds himself with. Not only that, he gets to keep every last dime, after expenses, when he leaves! That’s when the creative accounting will really come in handy.
I’m sure he has worked everything out over the past six years – he certainly hasn’t spent any time on his ‘job’.

  7. O has repeatedly tied the Dem candidates to his policies. I am afraid that cheating and voter fraud will pull out Dem wins that O will say is endorsement of his policies.

  8. Anyone who votes for a Democrat and doesn’t know she or he is voting for FCMABBHO’s policies is too stupid to pour piss out of a boot.

  9. Keith, great clip! Thanks so much for posting it, as I don’t get that channel. I’d love to see you as a regular contributor on Fox, or The Blaze, or the Newsmax channel.

As far as Obummer and the Dems who are shrinking away from him in this election, WHERE is the commercial with these soundbites:

“I am not on the ballot this fall. “But make no mistake: these policies are on the ballot. Every single one of them.”

“The bottom line is, though, these are all folks who vote with me.”

“So, this isn’t about my feelings being hurt. These are folks who are strong allies and supporters of me. And I tell them, I said, you know what, you do what you need to win.”

A commercial needs to be made for each of the states where we’ve seen Dems make remarks distancing themselves from Obummer in recent weeks, (Grimes, refusing to say she voted for him, Shaheen not being able to call him a good leader, Begich saying he’s irrelevant, etc.)

In each state, use the clip of that state’s Dem Senator or candidate and intersperse their remarks with the above OBummer soundbites. Then, the announcer’s voice should state something like, “Make no mistake about it – a vote for Grimes/Kagan/Landrieu/Begich/Shaheen (etc, take your pick in the important states where the Dems are claiming it’s not about Obummer). Also, it would be great to have music playing in the background as those words appear on the screen, “Won’t get fooled again…” (or something like that).

    1. That should read;

“Make no mistake about it – a vote for Grimes/Kagan/Landrieu/Begich/Shaheen (etc, take your pick in the important states where the Dems are claiming it’s not about Obummer), IS a vote for Barack Obama.”
