  1. Darn it, I was just back in the previous thread posting this:

HA HA HA!! Top headline on Drudge – It seems no one was too happy to see Obummer at a rally for the Dem candidate for Governor in Maryland, (O’s very first campaign rally this year). A steady stream of people walked out while Obummer was speaking:

Next, up, in less than an hour (7:50 pm CT), he’s supposed to be at a rally for Gov. Quinn in Illinois. I will be shocked if he’s able to get the expected 6,000 people there at 8 pm on a Sunday night:

Quinn needs a massive African-American turnout to beat Rauner (a poll released Friday shows a statistical dead heat), and that’s why the Obama rally on Sunday night will be at the 6,000-seat Chicago State University Jones Convocation Center, 9501 S. King Drive. Obama also headlines a $10,000-a-person fundraiser dinner Monday in Chicago for the Democratic National Committee.

        1. Must’ve been a special down at IHOP… obummer has a way of ruining your appetite so its best if you leave early… would rather eat lutfiske than hear another lecture from the clueless, lying one.

  2. Hmm, very light/vague schedule for the week, so far

Schedule for the Week of October 20, 2014

On Sunday, the President will travel to Upper Marlboro, Maryland to attend a campaign rally for Anthony Brown. In the evening, the President will travel to Chicago, Illinois, where he will attend a campaign rally for Governor Pat Quinn. The President will remain overnight in Chicago.

On Monday, the President will attend a DNC event in Chicago.

On Tuesday, the President will attend meetings at the White House.

On Wednesday, the President will attend meetings at the White House.

On Thursday, the President will attend a DNC event in Washington, DC.

On Friday, the President will attend meetings at the White House.

    1. Playrighter….he’s going back to begging for money, because when he started speaking at the rally this afternoon in Upper Marlboro, people started getting up and walking out!

          1. I still have a comment in moderation. It’s the first comment on this post, posted at 8:15. Of course, only I can see it while its stuck in moderation. That’s why I’ve been posting some of the info and links in my other comments here. It was about people walking out on O tonight in Maryland, and also the rally in Chicago that’s supposed to be getting underway as we type. I’m curious how many people turned out for that.

        1. WaPo’s article mentioned that he got heckled on immigration, but there was nary a word about people leaving. To the contrary, everyone was cheering for him.

          1. Reuters put it in their headline, and it’s the top article linked at Drudge right now. I’m posting it here in case it gets edited/scrubbed:

Obama makes rare campaign trail appearance, people leave early

President Barack Obama made a rare appearance on the campaign trail on Sunday with a rally to support the Democratic candidate for governor in Maryland, but early departures of crowd members while he spoke underscored his continuing unpopularity.

With approval levels hovering around record lows, Obama has spent most of his campaign-related efforts this year raising money for struggling Democrats, who risk losing control of the U.S. Senate in the Nov. 4 midterm election.

Most candidates from his party have been wary of appearing with him during their election races because of his sagging popularity.

Not so Lieutenant Governor Anthony Brown of Maryland, who is running for governor, and Governor Pat Quinn of Illinois, who is running for re-election. Obama plans to appear at an event for Quinn later in the evening.

“You’ve got to vote,” Obama repeated over and over at a rally for Brown in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, near Washington.

Democrats have a history of not turning up to vote in midterm elections.

“There are no excuses. The future is up to us,” Obama said.

A steady stream of people walked out of the auditorium while he spoke, however, and a heckler interrupted his remarks.

Obama’s help, or lack thereof, may not matter much to Brown, who is 11 points ahead of Republican opponent Larry Hogan, according to an average of polls by RealClearPolitics.

Quinn’s race is tighter. He is ahead of Republican opponent Bruce Rauner by 1.8 points, according to the RealClearPolitics average.

Obama is scheduled to spend the night at his Chicago home after the campaign event for Quinn.

          2. There’s a great pix of O under the headline Crowd Walks Out on O — Drudge. Take a look — the snap is priceless — one eye closed, the other a mere slit, head tilted, smile crooked. Choom Gang indeed.

And the upper right tag says Souza?

          3. Ha! Also at the Reuters article, click through to pic 2. It’s a pic of an immigration protestor at the rally in Maryland tonight. He’s wearing a t-shirt that reads, “OBAMA DEPORTS PARENTS #WeCantWait”, and he’s holding a sign that says “#Not1More”, (not really a sign, just something he scribbled on a large piece of paper).

          4. Sadie — Maybe he is “bummed” and wants to slum a little. Choom Boy wandering the empty rooms — like Nixon wandering the halls talking to dead presidents.

          5. One of the commenters to this article had a series of quotes from back in the Day when the boy king walked on water, parted oceans etc. I like this one because it “speaks truth to power” (to this day I do not know what that means)

            Anyway —

“We’re here to evolve to a higher plane . . . he is an evolved leader . . . [he] has an ear for eloquence and a Tongue dipped in the Unvarnished Truth.”
            Oprah Winfrey

          6. It’s from a pamphlet published by the Quakers in the 1950’s:

In 1955, the committee published Speak Truth to Power: A Quaker Search for an Alternative to Violence, drafted by a group including Stephen G. Cary, A.J. Muste, Robert Pickus, and Bayard Rustin.[5] Focused on the Cold War, the 71-page pamphlet asserted that it sought “to give practical demonstration to the effectiveness of love in human relations.”[6] It was widely commented on in the press, both secular and religious, and proved to be a major statement of Christian pacifism.

I know it’s an even worse source than Wikipedia, but there’s this explanation:

            Speak Truth to Power
This phrase originated with the Quakers in a 1955 pamphlet (Speak Truth to Power: A Quaker Search for an Alternative to Violence) promoting pacifism, in the belief that love can overcome hatred. It has come to mean “speaking out to those in authority” and is now used in politics and human rights activism.

We must speak truth to power when legislation tramples on our constitutional rights.

        2. Sadie, it gets better. In my comment that’s in moderation, I noted that Obummer is expected at 7:50 pm (CT) tonight at a rally for Governor Quinn in Chicago at the 6,000-seat Chicago State University Jones Convocation Center.

The only way that people will show up for O at 8 pm on a Sunday night is if they’re union people getting paid to be there.

          1. That’s great. Also, I saw on Fox a while ago how several black preachers were informing their congregations about Rauner and trying to convince them to not blindly vote Dem this time, that Quinn and the Dems have done nothing for them and the state is a mess under Dem control. I haven’t heard or read anything about that in a while, but I hope they’ve kept up their efforts.

          2. Preachers using the pulpit to talk politics? The mayor of Houston’s going after preachers who opposed public accommodations (trannies in women’s rooms) there.

Speaking of going after preachers, the authorities in Coeur d’Alen are threatening to jail and fine preachers who refuse to perform wedding ceremonies for gays.

          3. It seems that politics and ethics have been somehow misinterpreted.
Possibly, PC has ruined the very moral fiber that holds countries together.
            Welcome to Sodom and Gomorrah.

          4. And then we remember the IRS asking Christian groups applying for non-tax status: “What is the content of your prayers?” Not that there’s a trend going on or anything.

  3. 1) Day starts at 5:00 PM

    2) Only activity is a fund-raiser, then back home.

    3) Transparency. What a concept.

    4) Wonder if he’ll be on time to the fundraiser…

        1. Plus, Obummer already did a fundraiser for Quinn a few weeks ago. And, the week after that, Moochelle was in Chicago for Quinn. Plus, I think Shrillary has been there too recently.

        2. Bubba was here in Arkansas over the weekend for Mark Pryor, James Witt, and Mike Ross.
He did not come to our area….no one would have gone to see him.
I won’t say where he spoke for fear of being called racist.

  4. DOD Rapid Deployment Team for Ebola. CDC replaced by the military for something that Obama will not establish a travel ban on. Once again boy king is one hot mess.

Has people riled up and concerned. Count me as one concerned. This use of the military in defense of Ebola but not on the battlefield protecting US interests is unsettling. No matter how many people say it’s nothing.

On the upside someone must have told the boy king that the military is good for something other than latte salutes and holding umbrellas.

    1. I read an article regarding the 72 hour quick response team, and made a comment. On the article I read, I overlooked, or it didn’t state the CDC replaced. The 72 hour time span caught my eye.
However I do agree with your umbrella comment for sure.

      1. I have always said about Obama and the military — I see him as the crazy boy king playing with toy soldiers. I think Catherine the Great’s bizzare husband Peter.

There is some other crazy French king I was trying to remember. In my search for him I came across this little toy soldier shop in WDC. Pretty cool. I never knew it was there.

If you like this kind of stuff — check out the gallery.

        1. grace,
Thanks for the info on that toy solider shop in DC, I never knew of it! (then again I dont hang around the Capitol Hill neighborhood) Will try to check it out one of these days.
I remember playing with my Britons UK paratrooper toy soliders and playing Falklands War :-)

          1. I know DC fairly well… I spend most of my time there downtown/Mall, Georgetown or Alexandria-Arlington, Va.
I do need to checkout the Capitol Hill neighborhood and down around the Nats stadium.

  5. No surprise here (linked by Drudge):

Exclusive: Obama Administration Quietly Prepares ‘Surge’ Of Millions Of New Immigrant IDs

Despite no official action from the president ahead of the election, the Obama administration has quietly begun preparing to issue millions of work authorization permits, suggesting the implementation of a large-scale executive amnesty may have already begun.

Unnoticed until now, a draft solicitation for bids issued by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Oct. 6 says potential vendors must be capable of handling a “surge” scenario of 9 million id cards in one year “to support possible future immigration reform initiative requirements.”

The request for proposals says the agency will need a minimum of four million cards per year. In the “surge,” scenario in 2016, the agency would need an additional five million cards – more than double the baseline annual amount for a total of 9 million.

“The guaranteed minimum for each ordering period is 4,000,000 cards. The estimated maximum for the entire contract is 34,000,000 cards,” the document says.

The agency is buying the materials need to construct both Permanent Residency Cards (PRC), commonly known as green cards, as well as Employment Authorization Documentation (EAD) cards which have been used to implement President Obama’s “Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals” (DACA) program. The RFP does not specify how many of each type of card would be issued.

Jessica Vaughn, an immigration expert at the Center for Immigration Studies and former State Department official, said the document suggests a new program of remarkable breadth.

The RFP “seems to indicate that the president is contemplating an enormous executive action that is even more expansive than the plan that Congress rejected in the ‘Gang of Eight’ bill,” Vaughn said.

  6. A sure sign that Dictator Obama has decisively dealt with the Ebola threat to this country is that he golfed over the weekend and has now gone back to shaking down the useful idiots for colld, hard cash I.E. Fundraising.

  7. Rear Adm. John Kirby said they quick team training will start training this week. It is about Ebola protocols. Team of 5 doctors, 20 nurses, and 5 trainers. He just spoke on Fox.

  8. The International Business Times is reporting that the employer of Nurse Pham’s boyfriend has posted a message on its Website about an employee who was hospitalized on October 12 with Ebola symptoms.

    1. This explains why the Ebola Czar has been absent from WH meetings. Klain is very busy “implementing” zerO’s order that hospitals keep new Ebola patients hidden from the public before the election.

    1. Obama to speak about “black-on-black” street violence in his so-called “hometown” of Chicago…???

      -Thats a pathetic joke.

  9. This is the first time Obama probably wishes he could stay in his little bed in his Chicago home and just pull the covers over his head for the next two years. The little chickies are coming home to roost – big time

Looks like Mooch has lost all interest in her hometown, and the mini-mansion she fought so hard to get knowing full well the price was way over their heads.
It’s peculiar that she has no desire to visit her dream house if, for no other reason, than to remind herself of all those happy memories./s/

    1. Today’s schedule should be used as a How to succeed lesson for others. s
It looks like a schedule being taught to someone who has the time to party all night, and have the next off untill 5:00 in the evening.
