In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

  1. Are you kidding me? He goes through all this expense, inconvenience to regular folk–aways at rush hour, and his gigantic carbon footprint for 2 hours of fundraising????

    1. O’Reilly had an interesting segment tonight on what Obama’s partisan fundraising is costing the American taxpayer. It’s illegal, of course, and the administration is refusing to say. Even with a FOIA request it has, literally, forever to decide to answer the question.

      1. Thanks for mentioning this in better detail. I just noted a comment and typed trips, by mistake instead of fundraisers.
However I question the trips as well.

      2. Has the G#D D#mn Obama regime given a “reason” why they will not say how much all of Obama ‘fundraising’ trips cost?

Or is the Obama regime so arrogant they just say “no” and weak-willed, useless & cowardly “media” (especially the “WH press corps”) just go along with it

        1. Request have been denied.
I read an article that CBS for just one requested that information umpteenth! time,
We all know by THE LIST, that we either get a bull line, or no excuse what so ever.

  2. It’s such a shame that being POTUS take so much time away from Barack’s nearly non-stop fundraising and campaigning activities.

Perhaps a sympathy basket is in order?

[[Patriot Depot is now offering a Politically INcorrect 2015 calendar; one cartoon is of an emergency kit, marked “In Case of World Crisis — Break Glass”. Inside is a golf club. Rather fitting, actually. ]]

    1. The reason Obama is fundraising for Malloy in Bridgeport, yes, a dump, is that candidate Malloy is running against millionaire Foley. Malloy is constantly calling Foley that “O” word, a one-percenter, so Malloy has no choice but to be seen like a regular guy. Stupid. The money is not in Bridgeport. It’s in Darien, Westport, New Canaan, and Greenwich. Malloy chose not to attend the giant Greenwich fundraiser a couple of weeks ago in Greenwich because it would smack in the face of Malloy’s biggest objection to Foley.

  3. I can’t decide which one is his part time job – playing president or fundraising, although gleaning from tomorrow’s schedule it’s definitely the former.

  4. 11:00 am || Participates in a video conference with his British, French, German, and Italian counterparts; The Situation Room

They have Commie-fucking Pigs in charge of their nations? They have civilization-annihilators at the top of their governments?

  5. Video conferencing. Now there’s an idea that might work for fundraisers.

Phony war. Phony coalition. Like Obama’s old composite girlfriend.

    1. You must have been away most of the day. What do you think of the DNC taking television ad money away from Grimes in KY? Did you watch Kelly? She found it amusing that Grimes is claiming the sanctity of the ballot box when refusing to say whether she voted for Obama yet freely admits she voted for Bill Clinton and for H.C. in 2008. There will be outright war between the Clintons and the Obamas before this is all over. Starting already.

      1. Yes I was — hope I didn’t rehash .

As to the DNC and Lundgren. I suspect that the reality is funds were directed elsewhere to implement the famous Democrat “ground game”. Which mean cash for voting, getting to the polls, making sure the developmentally slow are brought to the polls and given assistance in making their marks. It always amazes me that this Democrat “ground game” — dead people — surprise votes found in the trunk of the car, and now Eric Holder’s march against voter id which emboldens more illegals and more voter fraud — is held up by all as “politically smart”. Fraud is what it is and illegal.

So the short answer. Her chances are narrow and they have pockets to line elsewhere. Besides I read somewhere that Hillary will be riding to the rescue — and the war will gain momentum… matter America will lose with either one of them.

    1. At some point in this fundraising/shakedown day, Dictator Obama will feel the urgent need to evacuate his bowels which in his twisted mind will count as official government business hence he will charge all expenses for the trip to the stupid taxpayers.

  6. OT Apparently we do have an Ebola Czarina — have had for 5 years — Nicole Lurie currently MIA — and oh noes, a shaky background with political corporate shenanigans with Big phara and a little bit of Andy Stern SEIU thrown in.

In short she is one hot Obama mess. Quelle Surpize.

  7. It occurs to me that when the Islamic State is more firmly established they will go about the business of caliphate building. There could be a job opening …..

    1. And some good news, Grace, at least I think they are good. On a press conference in Paris, Kerry and Russian foreign minister Lavrov announced that their countries will start cooperating in the fight against the Caliphate. They will be sharing some information to start with. Well, it has always been my opinion that the West should stop quarreling with Russia and instead realize that they share the same dangerous enemy out there, the rise of political Islam. But I do hope that Russia won´t let Assad or Snowden pay the prize. And I guess that you and I differ there. But, at least, the beginning of something good ??

      1. Swedishlady I appreciate that fact that Russia had these discussions with Kerry. The only thing I am still upset is that o
just sat back and watched what Putin did, regarding Crimea, and Ukraine.

      2. I would like to join you on this being good news. I cannot.

First Jean Francois Kerree is never good news. Second if it’s a meet between Kerree and Lavrov — Lavrov for the win. Remembering Obama’s comment to Medvedev that after the election he could be “more flexible” I see this as good news for Russia and Russia alone.

I am not one bit concerned for the well being of either Mr.Assad or Mr.Snowden.

But I can see where this would be encouraging to you. So we shall see how this shakes out. Perhaps something temporarily good will come out of this in terms of weakening ISIS.

    1. I was typing, with the TV on low. I thought I had heard that by mistake. I was getting ready to pull it up on the Internet for more when I noticed your comment. Tks.

        1. Health care worker was interviewed to quickly any contacts with or potential exposures. It said others who had interactions with the worker or possible exposure to the virus will be monitored.
Officials have said they DON’T KNOW how the first health worker became infected. But the 2nd case pointed to lapses beyond how one individual may have donned and removed personal protective garb.
          Read the article. Tks Denise
Press conf. on now from Dallas…….

  8. OT: I am watching/listening to a couple on Fox. The man was able to see his wife for the first time. He had an implant. Bionic eye!
    Wonderul couple, wonderful true story.

  9. Watching Press conference in Dallas.
Female Health Care Worker. 77 people now being monitored.
She was in contact with Duncan.
Dallas FIRE AND Rescue. Began phase one of the apartment. She lived alone and no pets. State will next clean inside apartment and car early this afternoon. Citizens neigbors were spoken to this morning. Talked to as many as possible. The apartment complex will hand out flyers thoughout the neighbood. 911 calls went out this morning as well. Two thinks: The only way to beat this is person by person, moment by moment and detail by detail.
2nd. Want..Minimize rumors and maximize facts.
It may get worse before it gets better, but it will get better.
    That was stated by Mayor.

  10. 10am to 3pm on official presidential schedule – 5 hours.

    3pm to 11pm on fundraising schedule – 8 hours.

Good thing there are no real crises out there…………..

  11. I know it is very important that the Ebola crisis is at hand. All of Union NJ was prepping since early this morning to close traffic, set up barriers and get ready for his “fundraising visit”. Then NOTHING. I feel bad for all the man hours and tax money spent! By the way my house taxes are $11,744 in a working class town in a normal home. I’m sure some of it was spent today on our police force and town workers!
