      • Very nice. And I agree — thanks again for a little something extra for the readers. This and trusting us with the keys to the house some weekends, responding to special requests, and efficient troll control.

Now about that moderation jail thing …. :)

        Always leave them wanting more!

  1. President Obama has to avoid the Press for two more days. I wonder where he is going golfing for Memorial Day Weekend. I can’t imagine he will be making a speech in front of Veteran at Arlington. If he does, I hope the Veterans return the respect this administration has shown him and turn their backs to him. I hope this happens but our Veterans are nothing but a class act and will show respect for the Office of The President.

If the VA was smart they would have a all hands on deck at each hospital and invite every Veteran needing care to come to the hospitals and be treated in a disaster triage type protocol so these Veterans are seen and treated immediately. If the VA’s can’t then open all the hospitals in the US to the Vets on these list. Screw waiting on hearings in Congress or the absentee (not lame duck) President.

So, where are the Obama’s going on vacation Friday?? Hawaii? Maybe, President can play Augusta National and Pebble Beach on the same day!

    • Very interesting question. He has a thick enough hide and nerve to go to Arlington. I don’t know how to spell the Yiddish word, chutzpah? Made it past my spell check!

  2. The solution to the VA mess is pathetically simple. Why do we need an entirely separate hospital system for veterans? When a serviceman is discharged s/he should be given a medical card good for free care anywhere. We owe our vets nothing less.

    • Very good idea.

Unfortunately under the Rule of the President Revenge even that is not enough as we are trending the opposite. VA care is the tip of the iceberg of where Obamacare is headed.

Perhaps the few worthy Republicans left might take note instead of expanding Medicaid to the states and thinking of all kinds of ways to make it “better”.

      Costs burstin

      • Costs bursting at the seams, state exchanges corrupt and failing, rumors of insurance company bailouts, and a record almost 11,000,000 on disability. And we haven’t even gotten to actual Obamacare implementation day to day.

  3. Keith: Lede on! I like the new format.

Zucker: “If it’s of real news value, we’ll cover it.”

Well, that explains the 24/7 coverage of looking for Flt. 370 – Benghazi must have moved to Malaysia.
