In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

Syria May be Using Chemical Weapons Again

Well, Secretary of State John Kerry’s masterstroke, his “deal” to have Russia “help” Syria remove its chemical weapons, seems to be headed toward its inevitable failure.

I just can’t believe Putin and Assad turned out to be untrustworthy. I mean, who would have guessed they were playing power politics while we were playing, I don’t know, Stratego. Anyway, this is an outrage. I think we should protest this at the UN and get a restraining order from Judge Judy.

Responding to reports of renewed gas use on civilians, State Department spokeswoman Jen Psaki indicated that yes, Syria may have gotten back into illegal warfare business.

Psaid Psaki:

We have indications of the use of a toxic industrial chemical, probably chlorine, in Syria this month in the opposition-dominated village of Kfar Zita. We are examining allegations that the government was responsible.

Uh oh. Crossed the Obama red line again.Actually, THEY’RE PLAYING HOPSCOTCH ON TOP OF IT.

Psaki was responding to allegations by France that the Syrian government may be up to its old tricks again. Assuming this wasn’t a pool cleaning gone horribly wrong, the Syria’s leaders may once again be gruesomely killing and torturing their people despite Obama’s iron-clad assurance that it would have to stop.

What’s he going to do? Nothing. What can he do? Bomb and weaken Assad, and then once the rebels get their hands on those weapons they’ll use them on Assad’s Alawites or somebody else. Or us.

Maybe Obama can just keep quiet this time, and at least avoid making us look like idiots.

  1. I find Jen Psaki (that propaganda spewing, arrogant, clue-less, so-called “State Dept. spokesperson”) attractive ;-)

    1. Right. She’s the girl at the end of the bar, spouting half-baked opinions on world issues that she learned about when she watched CNN in the morning.

        1. Voluntary. She has been brought up the Obama campaign ranks. She signed up for this. But she is perfect for this Administration’s State Department for which I have absolutely zero respect. Especially after being used once again as a pawn in the Keystone decision.

Actually, there are oh so many reasons why the State Department under this Administration is just embarrassing.

  2. “Us” you say, who’s this ” making US look like idiots”? Maybe the lo-infos who voted for this imposter, maybe the MSM that keeps covering up his failures, but it sure isn’t anyone who reads or comments here at WHD.

This is all on MrObama’s dance card; he chose to dance with Putin when Assad turned him down.
When this mealy-mouthed girly-man looks into the mirror tonight, he can reflect on all of the misery and deaths, around the world, that can be assigned to him for his worthless policies, his grand follies, and his lack of serious attention to our problems, and those of others who depend on us.

  3. Syria is Judenfrei (free of Jews).

“Over the past 10 years, nearly two-thirds of Iraq’s 1.5 million Christians have been driven from their homes. Many settled in Syria before once again becoming victims of unrelenting persecution. Syria’s Christian population has dropped from 30% in the 1920s to less than 10% today.” – WSJ

Go ahead Obama, take another bow before another sheikh, your foreign policy is “foreign” to everybody except you!

  4. Assad is winning handily, the last “gassing attack” supposedly from Assad is looking very much like a false flag orchestrated by Turkey, why would Assad do this now? Chemical weapons are good for only two things: terrorist attacks in a closed environment like the subway in Japan, and propaganda. Conventional bombs are safer for the users, much more efficient at blowing away cover, and the effects on the human body are no less horrific than gas on the victims, whether killed or maimed.

  5. Didn’t we just send some funds or arms to Syria rebels in order to determine which group we could work with. I don’t have the link, but I recall reading something like that.

  6. I never believed that assad was using the weapons. That is just ovomit BS. He is arming the rebels, because muslim brothers stick together and assad isn’t pisslamic enough or murderous enough to Jews and Christians.
