In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

  1. All of a sudden, Biden is being included in Obama’s spotlight. Is this a not-so subtle reminder by Obama about his “insurance policy”? I ask because I know Obama doesn’t share. If it is, he might look into buying better insurance – Biden would probably enjoy the roars of international laughter at his gaffes. As a “threat” Biden is rather a toothless one IMHO.

    1. Just the other day I read the Biden was going to Ukraine in a month. Does anyone have a guess why he is waiting so long to make that visit?

  2. What happened to the visit to Leetsdale, PA? Old friends and some family will be disappointed; they were already bragging about the visit.

    1. LOL, Srdem. I was wondering the same thing. The weekly schedule said Leetsdale. But, it also said more info about his Wednesday schedule would be released later. Change in plans I suppose.

I’m very surprised there isn’t a fundraiser or two included.

  3. OT to Star and srdem, and anyone it might help. I posted this comment in the previous post under Star’s comment with a link to a Wall street Journal article:

Star and srdem, whenever I can’t get an article at WSJ or somewhere else because it’s for subscribers only, I just Google WSJ (or other source) and the title of the article. It comes up at the top of the Google search and if you click the link there, you can almost always see the article that way. This one works for me when I search it. Just Google:

Wall Street Journal Discord Over What to Pay the Doctor

        1. You’re welcome…The WSJ is the last paper I have left. If anyone needs anything from it, you can get me thru my sites. But the Google thing is a good idea!

    1. great tip. I do this all the time as well, though I go through Google.com/news.
This generally works only for the first day or so that the article is out. Then it goes behind the pay shield.

  4. So why is the president visit the community college that has like maybe half of what Pittsburgh Technical institution has but can use our parking lot? I think we’re getting the short end of the stick on this one.

  5. Has the WH stopped listing fund-raisers entirely? That seems most likely to me.
Worrisome thought: if the o stops raising $$, will he wither away?

  6. So just another day of doing nothing. Good! Demagoguery doesn’t count as work. In particular to young skulls full of mush.

  7. Speaking of Biden (and apologies if this has been discussed and I missed it)… but can anyone explain why he collects almost $30,000 in Social Security benefits each year??? Isn’t it enough he collects rent from secret service who guard him. What a government leech.

  8. Nothing, absolutely nothing going on in that world that might command the attention of the Chief Grifter, so he takes his trusty sidekick Joe and spends and entire day in a classroom in Pennsylvania.
