In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

Holder Hearing Fireworks

The mutual disdain House Republicans and Attorney General Eric Holder have for each other was on full display during a House hearing Tuesday, with Holder and Rep. Louis Goehmert (R-Texas) exchanging contempt over Holder’s contempt.

Have a look.

Then another GOP Texas congressman Rep. Blake Fatenthold, suggested Holder should be in jail.

  1. BarackObama, EricHolder, and the rest of their minions situated in positions of great power and might, have exposed and exploited the weakness in our form of government. Our republic depends on, and can only succeed if these people, elected or appointed, honor our laws, never abuse their regulatory powers, and protect our country from foreign invaders.
We always believe that these government officials will be honorable, fair, and adhere to the laws Congress has enacted.

MrHolder has used his position of power to create a criminal class, to unfairly decide who to prosecute or not, and to unlawfully enforce only the laws that he thinks are appropriate.
He is a criminal. He has violated his oath of office.
    He should be prosecuted.

    1. Why did he get a pass for refusal to comply with Congressional supoenas for documents related to the (which a call it)’ Tea Party targeting investigation?
I understand that the House Committe to purse criminal case now. Why did it take so long?

  2. “You don’t want to go there, buddy”? A sitting attorney general actually spoke those words, in that tone of voice, to a member of Congress? Too bad Congress doesn’t have the power to censure him.

      1. Technically, they do: they could, theoretically, send the Sergeant at Arms for the House over to the Justice Department and frog-march Holder right out of there. There is a jail in the US Capitol, too.

And I’d bet the video of Holder getting dragged out of the Justice Department in leg irons might give Gangnam Style (perspective: currently at 1,945,907,649 views) a serious run for its money on YouTube.

They will probably hold that until after the mid-terms at least, though.

Think about it. Do you know how much fundraising the Democrats could do off of that?

Moving on Holder is the equivalent of moving on Obama, since Holder is the go-to protectionista for this organized crime syndicate otherwise known as “the Obama administration.”

Which reminds me of an old adage chiefly concerned with the only plausible reason for laying angry hands on royalty, if you see what I mean.

So, the power is there; but this isn’t the right time to exercise it.

  3. Gohmert and Fatenhold did a great job and I hope Trey Gowdy skewered that little rat Holder too.
How someone who holds the office of AG in the DOJ can adopt the behavior of a common criminal is beyond belief.
How is that these fools consider themselves better than anyone else?

  4. Holder should be hearing the clang of the bars closing his cell door each night. He’s as corrupt as all of them.
As Keith pointed out in August 2012 when the despicable “Romney killed my wife” ad ran:
“What’s spooky is the depths to which these people will go to maintain power. It suggests a lust for power and a willingness to do anything to preserve it that should frighten Americans…”
As accurate a quote as anyone describing the lower than low that are pulling the levers of government power today.
A quote of course I could not help but use for my Joplin Globe column today on Saul Alinsky living large and well w/in the political left WARNING, shameless self promotion:
Some rules are better left not followed, but don’t tell that to the likes of Barack Obama, Harry Reid, Eric Holder, or Hillary Clinton. They and the rest of their buds and babes hanging out on the wing of the political left have gone “all in” on following to the letter community organizer Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals”. – See more at:

  5. It is John Boehner’s responsibility to get impeachment hearings against Holder moving. For God’s sake the man has already been held in contempt.

        1. Mandy — Yes.

The U.S. Attorney General (AG) is the head of the US Department of Justice and is the chief law enforcement officer of the US government. The AG is a member of the President’s cabinet but must be confirmed by the US Senate. As such, the AG can be impeached by the House of Representatives and then tried by the Senate.

    1. Beohner needs to be removed from his position.
But congress has to do it.
Even if he is re-elected, that doesn’t mean that he will still be speaker.

  6. It’s apparent that the chief enforcer of laws and the implementation of them has no intention of following any that he finds in “conflict” with Mr. I’ve got a pen and a phone president.” The corrupted sheriff, judge and jury at 1600 and the DoJ are the English speaking version of a Mexican drug cartel.

  7. I see little difference between the Obama crime syndicate and the Chicago “Outfit”. Criminal prosecutions are in order for withholding evidence and obstruction of justice. Perhaps RICO investigations are in order for the Chicago gangstas who have infiltrated the WhiteHouse.

    1. What scares me is the results of the upcoming election.
Are we powerless in electing the people that we vote for ?
In precincts in Cleveland and Philadelphia there was over 100% participation, and not one vote for Romney.
      That is statistically impossible.
Military votes were lost or destroyed or too late.
The only way that they can win is to corrupt the voting process, and they are doing their best to prohibit voter I.D. in order to protect the majorities in the senate and turn the majority in the house.

We cannot allow them to do that.
If you want Pelosi and Reid back in charge, sit on your ass and don’t vote.
Time to take America back from the progressive heathens that are stealing Her from US.
