Based at existing Agriculture Department facilities, the hubs will assess local climate risks, such as drought and wildfire, then develop plans for dealing with them, such as improved irrigation techniques. The ultimate goal is to synchronize the federal government’s preparation and resources with other entities, including state governments, tribal communities, and other locations.

In the links above: the one about Obama rescuing the ancient science of farming.
Christie, the Republican Obama. All he knows is campaigning. The state of NJ has big time problems but is Christie going to actually govern? Noooo.
Here’s another good one–we can now get our medical test results directly from the lab. (We could always ask the doc to send, but now we can get them directly.)

Not sure where this is going. True, docs sometimes did not tell people even neg results–7% of the time, I think it said. I wrote a story a few yrs ago that had it a higher percentage. But then what…we see the results (they contain the normal ranges on them) and then call the doc and say, “Did you notice my sugar was 132?” I dunno, somehow this seems like it might not be good. I also never like how they say, “Tell your doctor if you are on other medications…” Shouldn’t the doctor KNOW this? I mean, shouldn’t it be written someplace?
That article on Jarrett infuriated me. As does Jarrett, the unelected President.
