  2. Congresswoman Cathy McMorris Rodgers to deliver GOP response to SOTU address:

    This should be as exciting as watching paint dry. Boehner and Cantor have been showcasing Rodgers for the last year. Very unimpressive, IMO. VP candidate? Hope not.

    1. She’s the good ol’ boys token female. She’s welcome in Bawling Boehner’s clique so long as she does what she’s told and doesn’t say anything that might embarrass him. The RINOs probably imagine she’ll bring in the women voters. Of course, she won’t.

  3. Obama tells the mayors they make things happen without congress – as though he is surprised they don’t need federal help for every little issue. I think that our Consitution was set up so that the mayors would be expected to make things happen without congress.
