  1. “House members must reuse gym towels”

That’s not all, There’s no one to check them into the gym and they must actually pick up a phone in order to gain admission. And, their trainers are no longer working, nor are the janitors, thereby making the place stinky.

Heavens to Betsy! We need to get some volunteers to help these poor folks.

  2. Love the article about the WH being warned that the Obamacare website wasn’t ready.

They are so clueless that maybe they didn’t think that Americans would notice.

  3. More fundraisers cancelled, hmmmm.
MrsO will have to put those new frocks back in the closet, right next to the fabulously expensive evening gown she was going to wear at the State Dinner honoring Brazil.
She might have been planning with her crew to go on the Asian trip with MrO, too.
    Dang Repubs, ruined everything. /sarc/

    • The interesting thing about that is that the government shutdown is irrelevant to a Democratic fundraiser in as much as it is not or should not be paid for by the government — although in reality we all know that it is. So, someone must have convinced her that the optics not only would be bad but would also stir up a closer investigation to these fundraising trips to begin with.

  4. And there’s this bombshell – from POLITICO! The tyrant is desperate! Does he really think he can dissuade Krauthammer, York or Gigot? Meanwhile, he still hasn’t met with the GOP.

President Obama held an off-the-record meeting with five conservative journalists on Tuesday afternoon.

Present at the meeting were Charles Krauthammer, the Washington Post columnist and Fox News contributor; Paul Gigot, the Wall Street Journal editorial page editor; Robert Costa, the National Review’s Washington editor; syndicated columnist Kathleen Parker; and Washington Examiner columnist Byron York, according to a source with knowledge of the meeting.
