President Obama today likened the floundering Obamacare rollout to a temporary glitch that occurred with the new Apple mobile operating system.
Here’s the latest illogic out of the Rose Garden.
Consider that just a couple of weeks ago, Apple rolled out a new mobile operating system. And within days, they found a glitch, so they fixed it.
I don’t remember anybody suggesting Apple should stop selling iPhones or iPads — or threatening to shut down the company if they didn’t. That’s not how we do things in America. We don’t actively root for failure. We get to work, we make things happen, we make them better, we keep going.
I think the inanity of this is both deep and wide and mostly speaks for itself. But just to illustrate – did Apple announce that it won’t be selling iPhones to employers for a year? Is the iPhone going to arguably destroy the practice of medicine in the United States?
Uhh boy. I realize intelligent thinking is a nonessential service with respect to the federal government, but does it have to be completely barred from the premises just because there’s a shutdown?
Here’s the horrifying event as it occurred.
