In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

Conservatives, Your President Hates You

As any of you who are conservative and who has had an argument with a liberal know – and I realize that includes most of you – liberals don’t just disagree with conservatives. They hate them.

They think conservatives are either evil, dumb, or both.

In Bush-Cheney, liberals had one of the greatest joys of their lifetimes, a moment during which they believed they had both dumb and evil in the same White House. It left them never wanting for jokes, snide remarks, and the sneering condescension they love to inflict – ooh, it makes them feel so good inside, so morally and intellectually robust. Oh such glorious Cro Magnon outrage against the Neanderthals!

Reagan of course was The Golden Age, evil and dumb embodied in the same individual. Then George H.W. Bush was elected, and he didn’t seem particularly dumb or evil to them. Liberals weren’t enjoying themselves at all, so they quickly elected Bill Clinton.

Romney was undeniably smart and didn’t seem very evil. The Obama campaign threw all sorts of dirt at him, though I don’t think average voters failed to support him because they thought he was really a bad guy.

But for true liberals, if dumbness can’t be located in a conservative, there must be evil in there somewhere. I recently spoke with a lefty – actually, speaking isn’t exactly what we were doing – who exclaimed to me, “Romney was a whore!”

Really? Romney? A whore?

Obama was sold to us as a new kind of politician who was above politics and could build bridges and blah blah blah blah blah.

Excuse me, I’m not done.

Blah blah blah blah blah.

But he’s just another liberal POLITICIAN who harbors the standard, stereotypical, unintellectual view of conservatives as dumb morons motivated by ill will toward their fellow man, and certainly, fellow woman.

And so, even as the wounded and dead were being accounted for following a mass shooting Monday morning a couple of miles away, Obama couldn’t live the with prospect of having to delay sinking his teeth into his conservative opponents. He’d spent weeks being nice as he courted their support for his Syria bombing campaign. I mean, enough was enough.

And so we got this:

Are some of these folks really so beholden to one extreme wing of their party that they’re willing to tank the entire economy just because they can’t get their way on this issue?  Are they really willing to hurt people just to score political points?  I hope not.

As you and I have discussed during our secret Tea Party meetings that liberals don’t know about, we need to do a much better job hurting people. It’s great that we’re oppressing the poor and locking the doors to the middle class, but we’ve got much more work to do.

I try to hurt someone before breakfast, and I think you should too. It’s a good routine and gets the day off to a nice start. At least torture an animal. Hurt a child if you can (don’t get physical, just give them a cigarette or a Ring Ding), put a black person in “back in chains” (How did Biden find out about this? Have one of you been leaking information from out meetings?) or, if you’re a dude, write the Republican Party to see what role you can play as a soldier in the war on women.

Wait a second, though. Obama also said this:

And as far as the budget goes, it’s time for responsible Republicans who share these goals — and there are a number of folks out there who I think are decent folks, I’ve got some disagreements with them on some issues, but I think genuinely want to see the economy grow and want what’s best for the American people — it’s time for those Republicans to step up and they’ve got to decide what they want to prioritize.

Did you see that? He said, there are a number of folks out there who I think are decent folks. That is, while most of us on the right are awful, there actually are “a number” of us who are “decent.”

It could be me! I might be a decent fellow after all! It could be you!

Thank God. He’s not completely onto us. Let’s make sure we keep a better lid on those meetings lest he discover the truth.

  1. On my way to work today, I pushed a woman down and stole her birth control pills. Shhh… I learned that at the secret meeting.

If only I had a separate airplane to fly my dog to my vacation destinations, I would be all set. That doesn’t seem to bother anyone.

    1. No later than 12 noon, Eastern time, on January 20, 2017.

Or, God willing, sooner. Arming al Qaeda in Syria is pretty darn close to outright treason, so maybe Congress might get up the cojones to do its duty.

      1. You’d think so- But I’m not optimistic..

With luck America’s Ministers/Preachers/Priests will notice the only people sure to lose (their heads) by arming Al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood are Christians.

If they do they, in one Sunday they could put an end to his treason..

And yes- Arming Al Qaeda meets the Constitutional definition of treason.. Claiming he was only arming “Vetted” Allies of Al Qaeda isn’t much of a defense- That those Vetted Allies will pass weapons and equipment to their allies is totally foreseeable.

Kinda like tossing a Molotov Cocktail into a building and then claiming it wasn’t arson because you had a fire extinguisher and thought you could control the fire…

  2. I will do my part by handing out hundreds of Exlax ladened brownies in the democrat strongholds of the nearest major city…. (just following the evil in my heart) …guess I’m not one of the “decent” people odumbo is talking about.. :)

A note to NSA, FBI, CIA, DEA, FDA from my Atty.Bernie: this IS a joke!

  3. In a piece you featured today “What’s Wrong With Obama” (written by Harris./Purdum) the very last paragraph explains everything:
“With big tests now looming on the budget and immigration, there could hardly be a better time for Obama to show at last that he has the ability to provide cover to the people who support him on difficult issues, and the ability to punish the people who choose a different path.”
There it is, a call to “punish the people….” and that’s exactly how MrObama views his mission to America.

MrO seems to believe that insults, sneers, and ridicule will bring people together to see that his way is the best way, but that’s not doing him, or us, much good in the long run. He can’t twist a solid conservative who was elected in a conservative area, nor can he change reality for 300 million citizens who wonder if he really knows what’s happened to them, their jobs, their families, or their futures.

Whatever the ulterior motive was when the NYT published an opinion letter from Russia’s Putin, whether it was to sell more papers, or to rally the public around their President who is sinking in the polls, it didn’t work. It didn’t work because MrO isn’t perceived as a nice guy by half of the country, and a vast majority thought he was, well, an idiot for ceding the Syria mess to Putin.

  4. Not only conservatives, Obama hates the Dems who didn’t support him in 2008. “You’re either with us or the hell with you” is what we were told. I think a few of us still sting from that and possibly never going back to the Dems.

  5. Off Topic but important news. I forgot to turn off my TV when the President began to address the Business Round Table. As I listened. I learned what the President is doing during those hours that appear on his schedule without a description of any work. The President, it urns out, “has been out there negotiating” a Trans-Pacific trade agreement. Guys, do you realize that with the time difference, the President has been up late every night personally negotiating with Pacific nations? That explains why he starts each day late in the morning. he has been up all night personally taking care of business. (And those trade representatives and diplomats who thought that they were negotiating are the people — oops, I am sorry — folks who are staying up late doing fun things.)

I also learned that the Tea Party Keith belongs to is a “FACTION.”

I may have to start listening to the President’s lectures. One learns so much.

    1. Ya, I accidently had it on when I walked back into the tv room & he was talking but before I could find the zapper I heard him mention the ‘other FACTION’…..then I barfed & turned it to honey boo boo.

  6. Here’s another take on who is angry. This is so worth reading! And in case you didn’t see it, there was a complete msm blackout on this event.

  7. Oooo–very caustic. I liked it! The problem is, he makes these dopey statements–Republicans hate women, for example, and perfectly sane college grads like some of my friends believe it and spout it back to me. All I can say is–uh, a lot of Republicans ARE women.

  8. So many liberals are wannabes who can’t accept that they will never live in the 1960s, so they try real hard to jin up (is that the term?) some enemies today. They have to look real hard sometimes, like that post-er who recently took Keith to task for mentioning “the Muslims first”in some list.

The problem with concepts such as multi-culturalism, the black community, etc., is that they are made up of people with very different interests — so there has to be a big, bad enemy to paper over the cracks and keep everyone yelling the same slogan.

  9. He doesn’t just hate conservatives, he hates America and everything she stands for. I realized that way back before the 2008 election when he rejoiced to his followers that they were “five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America”. He and his lemmings have a visceral hate for anyone who doesn’t follow the rules and regulations of the collective hive.

  10. That kind of talk is meant to justify the government attacking us as in the IRS on the Tea Party and other conservative groups, some religious.

  11. October 29, 2008:
In short Obama is no “new” politician at all. He is in fact the worst of the worst. A ruthless Chicago machine pol who will say anything, promise everything, and step on anyone to achieve political office. No principles, no morals, just pure political posturing. If it wasn’t for the media being in love with this guy, he’d have never made it out of the primaries.
But sadly, he did and even sadder; our sorrow is only beginning.

I have never in my life wished I had been more wrong than those words I wrote five years ago. When he got elected in 08 I really tried to give him the benefit of the doubt. Then the kicking of the GM bondholders to the curb, the closing of all the small town dealerships, the stimulus, the beginnings of the demagoguery on healthcare and that was it. My worst nightmare had come true. Obama was everything I had feared, everything thing that had been warned, and he was loose in the White House with a Democrat Congress.

That so many in this country STILL support him is one of the most depressing thoughts one can have. How so many can be so ignorant of the destruction occurring all around them is truly, truly a sad time in American history.

    1. “How so many can be so ignorant of the destruction…”

LBJ’s Great Society almost fifty years later. We have several generations born into the hype.

        1. Geoff: Just read your article “stretching Alex Aaron” – good read. It’s been suggested that the silence regarding his mental health was due in part/all that he’s black. Not unlike the ‘cone of silence’ that protected Nidal Hassan.

Thought I’d share with the rest of the readers here a snip from your article. Nicely put. I would have just diluted it and called him a cranky curmudgeon.

“With a resume thinner than Jack Sprat on a diet, an inexperienced, ill-prepared, and ill-tempered community organizer was swept into the Oval Office on an unprecedented wave of media praise.”

    1. Thomas Sowell sure has this guy figured out…

Like other truly talented phonies, Barack Obama concentrates his skills on the effect of his words on other people — most of whom do not have the time to become knowledgeable about the things he is talking about. Whether what he says bears any relationship to the facts is politically irrelevant.

A talented con man, or a slick politician, does not waste his time trying to convince knowledgeable skeptics. His job is to keep the true believers believing. He is not going to convince the others anyway.

  12. “Are they really willing to hurt people just to score political points?”

Gee, I don’t know, Mr. President. Let’s talk about that one little question for a bit. Are you talking about the people hurt because of the IRS targeting? Or are you talking about the people hurt with Fast and Furious? Surely you can’t be talking about those hurt in Benghazi? Are you sure nobody was hurt during the AP debacle? I’m sure not a single person was harmed in your drone strikes.

Hmmmmm…..I wonder if the people involved in the Delphi pension slashing were harmed? Was anybody harmed when you launched military operations in Libya? Did the Boeing employees feel harmed in 2011? I wonder if those at Gibson guitars were harmed in any way. Ah…..the list goes on and on.

With where the unemployment is at, the participation rate, the increase of those on food stamps, the decrease in take-home pay, increase in insurance, increase in energy, increase in food cost, and our national debt, you want me to take you seriously? We won’t even get into the ACA and the mess that is.

Course, Republicans are the only ones trying to score a political point, right? Got it! Now, just where were you on the night of Benghazi?

    1. To Dances with Truth: I keep reading your post over and over! Fantastic and so truthful, we may have forgotten some of the hurts he has caused and I’m glad we were reminded. Keep reminding us, but a lot good that will do, no one stops him from continuing to hurt and slander?

  13. We’re going to have to have a secret handshake and possibly a decoder
ring because they’re watching all other forms of communications. On a
humorous note there really is an ‘Exploding Head’ medical condition it’s
when you wake up in the night cause you’ve heard a loud noise not a real one. If we could only deploy it to them and see how thy feel.

  14. Of course he hates all conservatives, because we represent traditional American values, of which he has neither an adequate understanding of, nor any appreciation for. If you haven’t watched (or re-watched) 2016: Obama’s America, you should, as that gives a decent understanding of where this guy is coming from. Oh, and a 4.9 from the IMDB viewing audience just about fits with libtard mentality:

  15. When I first read this article, I didn’t think much of it. Liberals bash conservatives, conservatives bash liberals all the time. But, this guy is the president of the United States. He should never speak like this. After five years he continues to speak and act like a senator. Pushing legislation, pushing party politics, dividing America.

    1. Actually, even Senators must act like adults to get legislation passed.

President Obama speaks like a community organizer because the role of such people is to make sure the “community” (well, really, a small segment of it) is riled up and agitating to get what the organizer wants.

  16. This is apparently Obama’s distorted way of reaching out to people.

He doesn’t appear to realize that he’s no longer dealing from strength, but quite the opposite. If you don’t want to blame his bad judgement, you can certainly blame his advisors for the recommendations that they’re giving him.

Even though he doesn’t raise his voice, these are temper tantrums that are inappropriate for a president, but he hasn’t figured that out yet.

      1. The other evening on “Special Report with Bret Baier ”, Steve Hayes summed it up nicely by calling Obama “unpresidential”. He particularly referred to O’s comments about those nasty Republicans right after his remarks about the Navy Yard shooting. Disgusting.

      1. Saw a clip of a recent interview he did where the interviewer asked him if everybody was wrong after polling data indicated a majority of Americans oppose Obamacare and believe it will raise their healthcare costs. His response with a chuckle, “Yes, they are.”

Greg Gutfeld on ‘The Five’ called it a good example of SBS = Spoiled Brat Syndrome.

  18. It’s not as cut and dried as one side saying things about the other. Have you forgotten how during the Bush years, prominent Republicans and administration officials dismissed criticism of the Iraq war as coming from folks who wanted the terrorists to win?

Or would that bit of demagoguery ruin your chance to feel morally enlightened for going after ideological opponents?

    1. The problem with your comment is that many liberals did want the US to lose and were quite gleeful at our struggles. To this day they proudly state that we lost the war and are quite happy about it. They politicized the war to score cheap political points and had no care in the world as to the outcome or the damage their treasonous words caused.

As for Obama, we have never had a president who has demonized the opposition the way this guy has. And yet he expects the Republicans to work with him! Why would anyone work with a man who demonstrates such malice, hatred and dishonesty toward them.

    2. kids, this is the ploy known as the “Blame Bush” gambit. when Obama does something idiotic or petty, which is often, the lefties’ response is to blame Bush. they know they can’t defend Obama, since much of his antics are indefensible. so instead they attack.

I’m not sure if it’s Saul Alinsky or Vince Lombardi, but the best defense really IS a good offense.

  19. Thanks to you guys and your love of plucky immigrants, when the landscaper dude bid $120 just now, I said no, he left, but then he returned and said, OK, but how about $60. I cracked–you guys are costing me. By the way, he has a smokin’ truck! Out here, THAT is the American dream.

  20. Keith: The article is a keeper. Next thing you know, the president will tell you “you’re all wee-wee’d up” – oh wait, he actually said that.

I am late to comment today, but I have a really good excuse. As a knuckle dragging conservative, I had problems hooking up electricity to the family cave. A swat team from the EPA came by and started to give me grief about using unapproved firewood … well I won’t bore you with the details. Suffice it to say, I was about to cook up some OWS leftovers when I overheard one of them say, “Michelle is not going to like this, call for back-up from the Food Police.”

    1. Thanks for the reminder about the wee-wee’d up comment. I had completely forgotten that!

Good luck with the food police and the EPA. As for me, I’m greatly confused. Mrs. O wants us to drink lots of bottled water, but seems like only yesterday the environmentalists treated you like satan if you drank bottled water, because you were hurting the earth with all those plastic bottles going in the landfill.

  21. Pingback: Bookworm Room » Obama goes to war. His motto: “We have met the enemy and it is you, the Republicans.”

  22. Sometimes I am surprised that a member of Congress does not just knock Obama’s lights out when they get a chance. He is such a dishonest, pompous dick that it’s amazing that he has gotten through life without someone delivering a good old fashion beatdown.

Note to NSA, FBI and Secret Service, I am not advocating violence against the President. You may just want to be aware that some Senator or Congressman may go postal when Obama accuses them of wanting to starve, beat or poison children for the 100th time.

  23. He is just so miserable. I do not EVER listen to him speak, his aaaaand’s are so annoying and guess what, he may hate conservatives, but a lot of people hate him. Obama has nothing left so he insults — we are all sick and tired of the blame game. I wish he were gone already. But to give a nasty speech like that when mass murder of Americans happened is just unbelievable how stupid he is, so consumed with his hate for conservatives, that he couldn’t delay that so-called economy speech, he’s poisoned with his own hate.
