President Obama is playing his usual round of Saturday golf with his usual roundup of junior aides. He stopped briefly at the White House following his event at the Korean War Memorial today before heading out to the course at Fort Belvoir in Northern Virginia.
It’s already Obama’s 22nd time playing this year and outing number 133 of his presidency.
UPDATE: Golf, which began at about 12:30 pm ET, ended at around 4:30 as the skies opened up. Not clear whether Obama completed the round.

What a sad spectacle; the POTUS golfing with junior aides and yes men every weekend.
No “power” golfing with influencial Dems, or even friendly Repubs. Both groups would love to spend an afternnon with MrO, even if it was nothing more than just smacking the ball about and chasing it.
A lot of private business is done on the golf courses around the US, deals made or broken, futures determined, all in the spirit of healthy competition.
I don’t think he has friends or knows how to schmooze.
Bingo.
creepy, kinda’ slimy slithery — the idea of Obama schmoozing.
He knows how to schmooze low information voters.
Water seeks its own level. He’s paranoid. Afraid someone will discover that he really is an empty suit. Bob Woodward quoted Larry Summers in his book The Power of Politics – “Nobody’s home.”
All the speechifying he’s done this week has earned him a mini-vacay!
What is there to say about this man…
Not much, and all of it bad.
George Carlin’s “Seven Words You Cant Say on TV”… thats what you can say about Obama and his regime
Gotta get some relief from those “phony” scandals he cited in yesterday’s speech.
He actually makes black Americans look bad. I know, I know…he’s not one of them either…
The African-Americans I know, I know personally.
I would never presume to speak of those whom I don’t know.
Now that we know the scandals are all phonies, I don’t feel so bad about his playing another round of golf. Phew. What a relief.
How about some quality time spent with his daughters? We know he cannot tolerate Moochelle, but the girls need a dad.
Narcissists don’t care about anybody other than themselves. Besides, he never learned how to be a good parent. His parents were missing in action for most of his life.
Please, please, please lightening bolt. PLEASE.
You wish someone dead?
This is borderline. We try to keep this site clear so we don’t get into trouble.
Shame on you!
You’re wishing for the death of the president?
He is a Fucking Commie, Muslim-Appeasing Bastard, but he is still the president.
How dare you!
Nice. Your word is inappropriate. I hope Keith removes your repply.
*tthhhpppppppttttttttttttttttttttttt*
No, people don’t necessarily die because of a lightning strike. Besides, Torqued may actually mean the enlightenment that we symbolize by comparing sudden enlightenment to a hit by lightning. Or maybe Torqued wishes to be killed him/herself by lightning so that she/he won’t have to hear any more about Obama. Or perhaps Torqued is begging God to intervene in what is happening, just as Zeus used to help out by a well placed lightning bolt.

OT: re Bill O’Reilly’s talking points on Black on Black violence
CNN’s Don Lemon, actually agreed in part with Bill’s opinion, but claimed that he didn’t go far enough. He then outlined five things that should be happening in the Black community to defuse the violence, and to bring prosperity.
IMO: He joins other Blacks who have said the same kinds of things over the years, and we can expect the Black race-baiters to kick and stomp him until he shuts up as they did to Bill Cosby, and Herman Cain.

Take a trip back to the 1970’s and Michelle Obama’s hometown before it became the Mogadishu of Illinois. Photo of the Robinson’s home, too. Thanks to to Brits again;

Hers was a solid middle-class family.
I read something recently that alleged that her success came only through her brother.
What a crock!
He went to some Ivy League school because he was a great basketball player — and she was a legacy acceptance — his legacy — at the school.
Didn’t Obama’s Chicago pals make their fortunes as slumlords in the South Side ?
Valjar made a bloody fortune but was fired by Mayor Daley for incompetence in her management of one of the big slum developments. So now she and her protege are running the country into the ground.
Valjar — the mystery woman.
I hope that I live long enough to read the thorough expose books that will be written about this administration.
Hah! Rained out! Couldn’t have happened to a more deserving golf addict.
there were no Marines to hold his umbrella..
If the skies opened up, did the most Arrogant One ascend to the heavens to receive his glory for being the Savior of the Planet?
Amusing, but Not. Gonna. Happen.
If anything along those lines WERE to theoretically happen–and I’m talking pure speculation here–it would most likely be a thunderous dressing-down from Archangel Uriel, at a minimum.
Bottom line-he doesn’t care about his job

I don’t get the trend of ignoring facts about FCMABBHO.
FCMABBHO was a community organizer from 1985 until 1988, working with churches and the Gamaliel Foundation. Then, he entered Harvard. During the summers, he worked at Sidley Austin, where, if memory serves, he was introduced to Michelle by Bernadette Dohrn.
From 1992 until 2004, he taught at University of Chicago Law School, while he also directed Project Vote during 1992, and at Davis, Miner, Barnhill & Galland from 1993 until 2004. During those years, he also worked with three philanthropies, Woods, Joyce and Annenberg.
To my knowledge, none of those entities are public institutions or organizations.
1997 to 2004 he was an elected State Legislator in Illinois.
He still was “of counsel” at Davis Miner.
Didn’t he squirrel away the money Annenberg gave him ? I remember one grant was for renovating a park in the South Side, the money was spent but nothing to show for it ?
Everything in his private life showed no accomplishments, except maybe winning a couple of civil rights lawsuits against banks who wouldn’t give unqualified applicants a mortgage. I believe he was one of the original Bubble Boys ;)
In July 2008, Doug Ross wrote a scathing report on Obama’s failures and exaggerations of his accomplishments during his years as a community organizer. Should have been a wake-up call.

Keith wrote about Barrys “eloquent speech” yesterday. Of course it was a Teleprompter speech. Later on he went without Dear Teleprompter in an interview and there he referred to the US and Europe as “developing countries ” . Nile Gardiner writes about this latest gaffe in Daily Telegraph today. Also, Barry talks about Europe as if it is one country !!! Oh dear, how was his academic records now again, oh….. forgot …secrets….beginning to see why. Imagine if it had been George W.
Apologies, dear Lady. The only time our President is the smartest man in the room is when he is alone there.

Don’t see how Larry Summers is going to get Bernanke’s job by referring to Obama as “Nobody’s home”.
That was thanks to Girly 1.
Summers may also have been too shmoocy with Wall Street interests…
Even when he voted ‘present’, he was absent.
He’s right, swedishlady. The US and Europe are ‘developing’ into third world cesspools of Socialism, Marxism, Fascism – all the ‘isms’. The US is on the brink of totalitarianism as all of the ‘phony’ scandals are swept under the rug while the regime puts the finishing touches on the massive immigration/amnesty giveaway. The US is/will become a developing country of Muslims and Mexicans. Europe is a few steps ahead of us with the Muslim invasion. The vision of two ‘citizens of the world’, Obama and Valerie Jarrett, is being realized – the US is just one country among many – unremarkable in its achievements.
Where the heck is Joe Biden these days….must have taken up caddying.
India, Asia. On vacation, with the wife and children.
I binge-watched the first season of HOUSE OF CARDS in the last week–in that, the VP may resign to run for Gov of PA again–any chance of deal like this for Joe?
He’s opening a 7-11 in India.
My name was Antonio West. I was the 13-month old child who was shot in the face at point blank range by two black teens, who were attempting to rob my mother, who was also
shot.
I think my murder and my mommy’s wounding made the news for maybe a day, and then disappeared.
A Grand Jury of my mommy’s peers from Brunswick, Georgia ruled the black teens who murdered me will not face the death penalty… too bad it was me who got the death sentence from my killers instead, because Mommy didn’t have the money they demanded..
See, my family made the mistake of being white in a 73% non-white neighborhood, but my murder wasn’t ruled a ‘hate crime’.
Oh, and President Obama didn’t take a single moment to acknowledge my murder. He couldn’t have any children who could possibly look like me – so why should he care?
I’m one of the youngest murder victims in our great Nation’s history, but the media didn’t
care to cover the story of my being killed in cold blood.
There isn’t a white equivalent of Al Sharpton, because if there was he would be branded a ‘racist’. So no one’s rushing to Brunswick, Georgia to demonstrate and demand ‘justice’
for me. There’s no ‘White Panther’ party, either, to put a bounty on the lives
of the two black teens who murdered me.
I have no voice, I have no representation, and unlike those who shot me in the face while I sat
innocently in my stroller – I no longer have my life.
Isn’t this a great country?
So while you’re out seeking ‘justice for Trayvon’, please remember to seek ‘justice’ for me. Tell
your friends about me, tell your families, get tee-shirts with my face on them,
and make the world pay attention, just like you did for Trayvon.
I won’t hold my breath. I don’t have one anymore.
Thank you, Dave, for the lovely and touching tribute to little Antonio. It made me cry.

He’ll have to go out on Sunday since his round was cut short. He’ll play two rounds to make up for it.
did anyone notice if Barry was ‘focused laser like’ on the economy while he was hitting chip shots?
Thank you for speaking so eloquently and reminding us of Antonio West. I do remember when this horrible, violent act occured.
