  1. Taliban militants attacked key buildings near Afghanistan’s presidential palace and the U.S. CIA headquarters in Kabul, a brazen assault that could derail attempts for peace talks to end 12 years of war.

I don’t know whether to laugh or cry. I bet that idiot at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue is scratching his head and thinking “I thought I was perfectly clear that we want to negotiate peace.”

  2. As Republicans are falling all over themselves to sign up for the immigration ‘scamnesty’ bill which will surely put the final nail in the coffin of U.S. sovereignty, Obama begins his crusade to accelerate a false crisis with more global warming, aka climate change, fear mongering. Unfortunately, ‘scamnesty’ is IRREVOKABLE! Fortunately, cap and trade can be done and undone with an Executive Order.
Meanwhile, the Taliban is on the march – attacking a facility which houses the CIA located near the Karzai palace! Obama is waving the white flag!
Obama is in the ‘doldrums’? The upcoming $100M vacay to his homeland should cure all that ails him!

  3. Now the IRS is saying they won’t target conservative groups anymore….like didn’t they deny doing this in the first place…isn’t this lying and called criminal! So will they just be forgiven because they say they won’t do it anymore? Am I missing something here???

  4. My personal favorite on today’s Great March Forward is the new HHS push to enlist NBA, NFL support of Obamacare. Sports in service of the state is common to authoritarian governments. Think East Germany.

    • Spot on! East Germany seems to provide Obama with many ideas. What about total surveillance of the population? I could refer to another Germany too, but I don’t want to get someone on my back.

  5. Good on Mick Jagger. At a concert in D.C. he said that “President Obama is not here tonight, but I’m sure he’s listening in.”

  6. “Obama orders [government] workers to keep tabs on colleagues . . . McClatchy”

So, then: if workers are told to spy on co-workers, and we have do-not-fly lists to spotlight and harass all the hundred-year-old women in wheelchairs trying to fly cross-country, how come the government doesn’t maintain a “why are you flying?” list for government workers (especially those with high security jobs) attempting to fly to foreign (read: enemy) countries?

And how come nobody’s talking about STARTING such a list yet?
