Obama Heads Out to Fort Belvoir to Play Golf

President Obama is playing golf today on the Fort Belvoir course.

And though technically at Fort Belvoir, he is actually in heaven. It’s 84 degrees, humidity is 50 percent, the wind is at nine miles an hour and, as the weathermen like to say, there’s abundant sunshine.

It’s the 17th time he has played this year and the 128th outing of his presidency.

      The schtruggling single mom is snubbing the wives at the G8 mtg. in Belfast – taking her separate entourage to Dublin where Trinity College is featuring an exhibit of her husband’s Irish ancestry. No joke! Afterwards, they will all meet up in Berlin for ‘The Speech’.

        I’ve noticed Mrs. Obama “schtruggle” pronouncing the word struggle, too! (She does it every time, which is a lot.) If she went to http://www.thefreedictionary.com/struggle she could practice both the American and English pronunciations of the word, which are essentially identical.

        Googled “Bitchy Resting Face” without the MOTUS — wow, there’s a lot out there on this newly defined malady — I wonder if it’ll be covered in the DSM-V?

        More than two planes? Srdem posted earlier that Obama is taking 500 businessmen to Africa with him. I wonder who is picking up the tab. Srdem was wondering about outsourcing jobs, and I am wondering if these 500 were big contributors to Obama’s election campaign. Under criticism, Obama said we were going to get big bang for our buck, but it looks like these 500 will get the big bang while the rest of us will cough up the bucks. Probably all kinds of Solyndra type schemes.

      I would not put it outside the realm of possibility for him to hit 53 or more rounds this year. You KNOW he’s going to play several rounds up at the Vineyard, and I would be shocked if he limits himself to a single round while he’s in Ireland. He’s also sure to hit the links several times on his annual Hawaiian junket.

      I predicted before his second term began that he’d go golfing on a workday before too long, and he already has. When it comes to this POS, no golf game is to be passed up, and to hell with what the public thinks.

      What? I meant Perpetually Off-Duty Slacker. You thought I meant something else?

      Anyway, right now, if you gave me an over/under of 52 on the number of rounds of golf he plays this year, I’d take the over.

    There he is; the leader of the greatest country ever, fooling around on a golf course after a week of fund-raising, meets and greets with the happy crowd and some lady “ballers”, an occasional foreign leader of sorts, and the great business of government rolls on without him.

    It’s almost as if the three branches of our constituional government are just historic vestiges of what was once a great idea. Congress asks for answers and the Cabinet heads don’t know who or what is doing anything in their purview, assuming they just don’t lie about it. The Supreme court is picking issues to decide that border on the ridiculous or so narrow as to be insignificant. The President presides over nothing; all decisions of import are made by anonymous trolls working in dark corners of small offices.

    So, golf on, MrO. We don’t need a President anymore.

      Well, I think the gig is up. They’ve got their foot on our necks more than we know but we are slowly finding out how bad it really is. barry can do whatever he wants and he will do whatever he wants. What is anyone going to do about it. He’ll let the little people complain about it – what does he care, it doesn’t effect him one iota. The 3 branches of government have become one in the same and they serve themselves equally – they don’t care if it makes the little guy happy or not. The gig IS up.

      Not my email account — this time. I have a Facebook account but do not use it. Last week they sent me a notice “Suspicious Account Access. Your account was recently accessed from a location we’re not familiar with. Please review the activity details below: Near Crown Point, IN, US (Yesterday at 4:27am)” along with that IP address. Extra suspicious to me because Crown Point is ~45 miles from Chicago! This is after a week of “searching” to verify a news report I came across that the MSM has not covered. Hint: it involves HRC.

      He needs to take his golf addiction a little less seriously, and his job of running the country a little more seriously.

      The Middle East is about to devolve into a regional war, Americans can’t find work, too many people are in poverty, the government is spying on–and in some cases attacking–private citizens for disagreeing with the will of the political class, reporters are being treated as criminals, and on and on and on.

      Meanwhile, the First Duffer is going out to play a rich man’s game, while more and more Americans struggle to put food on their tables and gas in their tanks–and in some cases, they have to make that an either-or decision.

      There does come a point at which a healthy way of getting away from it all becomes its own “it all” that needs to be gotten away from.
