  1. The President must be in a different dimension that the rest of us. Does he think anyone is interested in his jibber-jabber about the Equal Pay act when is doesn’t mean a thing if a person doesn’t have a job?

He can’t go on pretending that the country isn’t roiled by scandal after scandal and it’s business as usual in the BigWhite. He must address our concerns, honestly this time, about what the government is doing to us.

    • Why not? He’s been pretending the last 4 years plus. It’s not as though he’s emotionally invested in America. It’s just another “gig” for him on his way to a grand (more like ten of millions) life post-presidency.

      • Stop blaming the president Obama and take responsibility for your own actions. Some people don’t have a job because they don’t want one and that will make the unemployment numbers high as well. The economy is not one hundred percent but most realist/economist will say that it’s getting better. As far as scandal I don’t think he’s denying that it existed way before he came into office. What we need to do as a people if we’re so concern get in contact with our government officials on a local level , have them step up too the plate. It’s too much of obstructionist going on in left field if you know what I mean.

        • Obama works for us. We hold Obama accountable. We have been “nice guys” for too long. The charade has to stop. Obama is the one who owes us an explanation and we demand nothing less. If you want to act as the human shield for Obama’s actions, that is your right. Do not, however, insist that others join you. BTW – it’s much greater than the economy: National Security; Freedom; our Nation’s Future.

        • Most realist economist say it’s getting better? Foodstamps hit a record high, as has “disability”, and fewer people are working than ever. Gas (in Michigan) is at $4.25 a gallon. Kids are graduating from college w/o jobs and working at Starbucks to pay off their loans.

The FSA may predate Obama, but he continued the program, which most likely strengthened under his watch. IRS is his. Solydra and other failed crony capitalist schemes. AP and Rosen. The list is very long.

As for “not wanting a job” – the only people who choose not to work when they could, make that choice because of the LIBERAL policies that support their lazy lifestyle.

    • He can’t go on pretending that the country isn’t roiled by scandal after scandal and it’s business as usual in the BigWhite. He must address our concerns, honestly this time, about what the government is doing to us.

Oh, yes he can go on pretending that it is business as usual.

And, no, he must not address our concerns.

Say a prayer for, give good thoughts to, light a candle for…whatever you must do in support of Edward Snowden.

  2. Why even bother getting out of bed to utter a few pitiful words on ‘equal pay’ before a room full of stooges from central casting. Lunch with Biden followed by a game of shuffleboard – pathetic!

  3. Time for an Oval Office speech. He needs to man up and tell America the truth so we can start having that honest discussion he mentioned in his hastily prepared speech. We need to know why our government is storing every keystroke and every phone call of every American under the guise of national security.

        • The president is know more of a puppet than the ones that came before him. Think about it. At least we can’t deny that he got a lot of things done with a party that wanted to make sure he was a one term president, its just sad that most people on the left rather see him fail than the country grow so they continue to be obstructionists. Even Stevie Wonder could see that in we his story. We going to see what the prediction is in the history books down the line.

          • Tracey, it’s early. Go back to bed and catch some more zzzzz’s. Wait until after today’s performances to defend Obama. Set your alarm for 12:45 p.m., he should be finished with lunch by then. You might also want to consider your sources – Stevie Wonder has great pipes, but he is neither historian nor political commentator. You are SO LO INFO.

    • Maybe what I read is incorrect, and, dang, I can’t remember where I read it. When the Obamas go abroad, he is slated to give one of his speeches at the Brandenburg Gate. “He gave a speech.” How many times is that going to work for him?

  4. Wow 10:30 AM till however long it takes Barry and Joe to dine so a 3
hour day. So what’s he up to the rest of the day where is he in the WH?
At a ‘friends’ house with his sleeping bag for a slumber party? Private
residence begging for cash or other ill gotten stuff. Benghazi where in the
hell was he and why are they all covering for him the Secret Service should know but maybe he doesn’t always use them. Stranger things
    have happened.

  5. Let’s face it, Obama only cares about people who agree with him. He is not a President for all the people and the government is at war with America, not the terrorists!! I hope that he gets impeached and jailed. Any other white President would have been by now. What kind of country have we turned into? that we take such abuse? I only hope that things will change and they could change if we make them change.

  6. There’s more to this Equal Pay Act address today than meets the eye. Kirsten Gillibrand, (NY Senator) has been all over the airwaves of late – this morning on CBS talking about the Equal Pay Act. Last week, on every network hawking the law she’s written about military rape. I think the Dems are trotting her out for more exposure for a reason and Obama’s remarks are to give HER more exposure, not actually about the act. I expect to see her standing right next to the president today.
