As of now, I am in control here, in the White House

Live Stream || Carney Briefing – May 14, 2013

Scheduled for 12:30 pm ET. Unless of course they cancel it. Or maybe instead of briefing the reporters they’ll arrest them.

UPDATE: The briefing has concluded.

  1. Very cute but horribly accurate statement……lawlessness has been going on now for years. Obama will have a tough time scrubbing and/or defending the next round of discoveries.

  2. We would not be surprised to see Carney the Magician escorted to the podium by two burly security agents, tie askew, hair mussed, shirt hanging out of his pants, crying “no, no, I said I quit”.

  3. Can anyone recall a more Fascist time in the U.S.?
    Benghazi coverup
    Healthcare getting your medical ID
Paying off their donors with jobs and gov’t spending
    Listening in to press calls
    Gun Rights

Personal information and security is at a seemingly all-time low.

    • Agree, Scottso and Robin. Also, don’t forget the amnesty bill they are trying to shove down our throats, just like they did with Obamacare. We’re closer to a third world banana republic, than a constitutional republic.

    • At least he doesn’t have a lot of human props ranged in the background, shuffling from foot to foot, wilting under the hot lights like his BOSS does when HE’s late to the podium…

      • I tried, I really tried. But, when he started in on the investigatio into the murders in Benghazi being a “sideshow”, I called him a 12-letter word, and clicked the screen’s MUTE button.

I know he gets his marching orders from FCMABBHO, that he is a mouthpiece, but he has to believe this pile of horsefeathers in order to go out there and do his job effectively.

So, screw him and the boss he rode in on.

  4. “The Ministry of Truth is involved with news media, entertainment, the fine arts and educational books. Its purpose is to rewrite history to change the facts to fit Party doctrine for propaganda effect. For example, if Big Brother makes a prediction that turns out to be wrong, the employees of the Ministry of Truth go back and rewrite the prediction so that any prediction Big Brother previously made is accurate. This is the “how” of the Ministry of Truth’s existence. Within the novel, Orwell elaborates that the deeper reason for its existence is to maintain the illusion that the Party is absolute. It cannot ever seem to change its mind (if, for instance, they perform one of their constant changes regarding enemies during war) or make a mistake (firing an official or making a grossly misjudged supply prediction), for that would imply weakness and to maintain power the Party must seem eternally right and strong.'”

  5. Still calling Benghazi a political sideshow. And a little bit of a stump speech about how great Obama is and how much he cares. And interestingly the little bit I heard there are little skirmishes with the newly constituted WH press corps as “press”, “reporters”.

  6. Unfettered investigative journalism — important. I don’t know what is funnier Jay Carney on behalf of Obama claiming this is important, or the WH press corps think that they have been doing that any time in the last four years.

  7. Are certain questions not allowed? Such as to follow up the statement that the President is focused on creating jobs ect. why doesn’t the reporter ask if he will give up fundraising trips to focus even more.

  8. Someone needs to slap his (Carney’s) lying jaws. The media lapdogs are starting to sit up and beg for treats. Good Doggies – let Jaybird soon to be Jailbird off the hook and just let him lie.

  9. Meerkat’s holding a press conference right now. MSNBC’s covering it.

Right now he’s talking about the American diplomat who’s been arrested as a spy in Russia.

  10. By their own admission, this administration is unaware of events and issues that have seized the MSM and the people of the US.
They didn’t hear about anythin until CNN or someone mentioned it, they don’t know who said what, and won’t comment on anything because they don’t know anything.

This has to be the dumbest, most uninformed, least involved administration in our history. The heads of departments have no idea what their underlings are up to and when they find out, they claim innocence by reason of incompetence.

      • I was trying to eat lunch, Jay! Have some decency. The balance, the balance, oy. Unfettered to “do” investigative journalism–do you mean free to dig the dirt? And of course, no one can talk until an investigation is done–what about Professor Skip, Trayvon, etc? And what the heck is the horrible national security thing someone supposedly leaked–can they hurry up and leak it? I am so tired now I feel like I could fall to the center of the earth. Maybe that is what they intend.

  11. It is sad that We, on WhiteHouseDossier are not allowed to ask questions at the daily “Carney Briefing”…
(Carney would run away from the podium/press room crying :-)

  12. Quote of the Day:

    Defense lawyer/FOX contributor, Arthur Aidala
“This is a resignable type of offense!”

Resignation may be the only way to get rid of Obama. Boehner was reported to have said, among other things, that we don’t have the money to impeach Obama! Why not go for a ‘two-fer’…and get rid of both of these jerks!

  13. “instead of briefing reporters they’ll arrest them”. At first it was funny and then I started to remember how fascism takes power and it wiped the smile right off my face. Power unchecked is very scary.
