In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

    1. Check out the web site: reaganfoundation.org to see what a real President’s schedule looks like for this date in 1981.

  1. Actually, he should be congratulated for what on his scale is an early start after three grueling fund-raisers fighting for the middle class.

    OTOH, it looks like this day’s portion of his $400,000 salary works out to about a thirty minute work day — if we believe the official schedule.

    1. What do Obama’s DB cover?
      I know more than Obama/a Congressman in 30 minutes every morning from reading Drudge Report, Daily Caller and OF COURSE :-) WhiteHouseDossier and watching Imus.
      For a “President” he really dosent seem to care whats going on in the world. Is it a case of ‘selective knowledge’? (If I dont know it, you cant blame me)

  2. I’m afraid if I called him lazy I should expect an IRS audit. It’s becoming very Nixonian around here, except Nixon didn’t play as much golf.

  3. I wanted to get a flavor for this President’s work load compared to Ronald Reagan’s. (reaganfoundation.org) On May 14th, 1981 Reagan started his day early around 9 AM and ended close to midnight. It is hard to believe how packed his schedule was. The next day (May 15, 1981) he had a moderate schedule but still more workload than a typical Obama workday. My point: Reagan worked very hard, Obama is LAZY!

  4. Hey, maybe he and Hagel can discuss THIS!

    “President Mikey Weinstein and others from his organization met privately with Pentagon officials on April 23. He said U.S. troops who proselytize are guilty of sedition and treason and should be punished – by the hundreds if necessary – to stave off what he called a “tidal wave of fundamentalists.”

    “Someone needs to be punished for this,” Weinstein told Fox News. “Until the Air Force or Army or Navy or Marine Corps punishes a member of the military for unconstitutional religious proselytizing and oppression, we will never have the ability to stop this horrible, horrendous, dehumanizing behavior.”

  5. Let me encapsulate the President’s breifing at this point;

    “Good Morning, Mr. President.

    Here’s the solutions to your current issues as proposed by all your advisors;

    1. If the facts are against you, argue the law.
    2. If the law is against you, argue the facts.
    3. If the facts and the law are against you, yell like hell.

    We advise that you are at level 3 on Benghazi, the IRS, the AP, and pretty much every other issue before you. Perhaps it’s time to deploy the race card as well.”

  6. I can just see this loafer shuffling aimlessly around the Den of Destruction formerly known as the White House in his bathrobe and speedos, a cigarette dangling from his lips, with a cup of coffe, emblazoned with the seal of the presidency naturally, wondering if it is time to take a nap and this is at 9:00 AM in the morning!

    Bet his hangover from the night before doesn’t wear off until at least mid-afternoon at which time he starts jonesing for his first drink and choom stick of the day. Bet one of his favorite songs is the one by Jimmy Buffet about it being 5 O’Clock Somewhere.
