In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

What he meant was that HE grew up hearing all sorts of evil things of the United States of America.

A great cartoon ! And a great reminder of why the Republic was founded. Oh, that sinister, snaky voice whispering in the background….he really has those hissing ssss in his voice.

I’ll have to pay attention to how often he ‘esses’. We always knew he had a problem with the letter I.

Barry’s manner of speaking – the uneven cadence of his remarks, his expressions, his insincerity, even his purple lips – they all drive me crazy. But it’s those truly annoying, sibilant sssss’s the REALLY make me insane!

“The best minds are not in government. If any were, business would hire them right away.”
“The government’s view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.”

President Ford said, “If the government is big enough to give you everything you want, it is big enough to take away everything you have.”

always loved the Reagan quote about the best minds. People like Sanford and Weiner couldn’t succeed in the private sector. Hence, a political career.

Really makes you wonder if Barack Hussein Obama is really a “Constitutional scholar”…?
Where did that bull-sh#t come from since NO ONE has ever seen Obama’s “college or law school” grades-records etc.

Yes Langley Spook, I wonder too. Some kind of affirmative action scholar, I presume.
Right! No reason to want limited government and/or to fear the one we have. They’re only looking out for us!

Only if the conservative group had a name with the words “Tea Party” or “Patriot” included. What’s the big deal? Preezy Revenge was just using the IRS to punish a few of his enemies. Rush was just mentioning Nixon’s articles of impeachment in relation to the actions of this regime. How very prescient those articles of impeachment are…
fantastic choice, Keith. I thought exactly that when I saw the clip of Obama saying that. however, it is just us older people who heard those voices,, education these days not consist of learning about our founding fathers. I remember we had books of biographies to read in grade school on many of them. I think I read the one on Franklin twice. Just saying.

Hearing voices?
The usurper obama is hearing voices allright, the voices of long dead tyrants, murderous dictators, liars, thieves and traitors who dreamed of subjugating the people.
Got to give the usurper credit, he is as sly and cunning as they come, he is careful to never tell a lie that will catch him later.
You just have to listen to his words, and take the apparent meaning in the context of the moment and flip it 180 derees and you find the tyranny in his meaning.
So yes he told the truth in that quote, it was artfully crafted to appeal to peoples fear. And buried in all this is the sinister intent that once you have the majority afraid and manipulated as you want them, you go after the ones remaining who don’t fall for the big lie by creating laws that make them criminals.
Instant tyranny!
And you got the useful idiots to do your dirty political work to boot.

I see where the IRS has apologized for targeting conservative groups during the 2012 elections.

Voices??? Yea ….our Founding Fathers, the Constitution, the Declaration of Independence….voices???
the only voices he hears from the hallowed halls of the White House are Beyoncé and JayZ, and maybe some hallucinations after an especially FAT joint.
