In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

  1. Make this immigration policy the law of the land.

Foreigners are admitted into the country “according to their possibilities of contributing to national progress.” (Article 32)

Immigration officials must “ensure” that “immigrants will be useful elements for the country and that they have the necessary funds for their sustenance” and for their dependents. (Article 34)

Foreigners may be barred from the country if their presence upsets “the equilibrium of the national demographics,” when foreigners are deemed detrimental to “economic or national interests,” when they do not behave like good citizens in their own country, when they have broken the country’s laws, and when “they are not found to be physically or mentally healthy.” (Article 37)

The Secretary of Governance may “suspend or prohibit the admission of foreigners when he determines it to be in the national interest.” (Article 38)

Federal authorities must keep track of every single person in the country:

Federal, local and municipal police must cooperate with federal immigration authorities upon request, i.e., to assist in the arrests of illegal immigrants. (Article 73)

A National Population Registry keeps track of “every single individual who comprises the population of the country,” and verifies each individual’s identity. (Articles 85 and 86)

A national Catalog of Foreigners tracks foreign tourists and immigrants (Article 87), and assigns each individual with a unique tracking number (Article 91).

Foreigners with fake papers, or who enter the country under false pretenses, may be imprisoned:

Foreigners with fake immigration papers may be fined or imprisoned. (Article 116)

Foreigners who sign government documents “with a signature that is false or different from that which he normally uses” are subject to fine and imprisonment. (Article 116)

Foreigners who fail to obey the rules will be fined, deported, and/or imprisoned as felons:

Foreigners who fail to obey a deportation order are to be punished. (Article 117)

Foreigners who are deported from the country and attempt to re-enter the country without authorization can be imprisoned for up to 10 years. (Article 118)

Foreigners who violate the terms of their visa may be sentenced to up to six years in prison (Articles 119, 120 and 121). Foreigners who misrepresent the terms of their visa while in the country — such as working with out a permit — can also be imprisoned.

Under Federal law, illegal immigration is a felony. The General Law on Population says,

“A penalty of up to two years in prison and a fine of three hundred to five thousand pesos will be imposed on the foreigner who enters the country illegally.” (Article 123)

Foreigners with legal immigration problems may be deported from the country instead of being imprisoned. (Article 125)

Foreigners who “attempt against national sovereignty or security” will be deported. (Article 126)

Citizens who help illegal aliens enter the country are themselves considered criminals under the law:

A citizen who marries a foreigner with the sole objective of helping the foreigner live in the country is subject to up to five years in prison. (Article 127)

Shipping and airline companies that bring undocumented foreigners into the country will be fined. (Article 132)

Harsh, I know. But it fills our needs nicely, and no one on the left has ever questioned it.

    Because it’s Mexico’s.

This makes it perfect for Obama. It was created by another nation, so we can avoid that hateful American influence and satisfy Ruth Ginsberg’s hankering for international laws; It wasn’t White, former slave owners that wrote it; and it must not be racist because it’s been in use for years already with no disparate impact or nasty lawsuits.

America Last! Adopt this international law NOW! POWER TO THE PEOPLE!!!

  2. “Republicans promise Benghazi details . . . Daily Caller”

    I can see it now;

“In other news, John McCain lifted his head out of Obama’s lap long enough to ask for some details about Benghazi, while apologizing for his extremely racist constituents that forced him to question such a wise and noble President simply because they hate Black people. By way of details, Obama did have his aides supply the date that the Islamic hatred video was posted on Youtube and the cell number of the Coptic creator of the hate speech, as well as several testimonies from top media correspondents that the whole thing was a Republican plot to bring down a strong Black man. He then vowed to make sure that anyone making an anti-Islamic video in future would be labeled a terrorist and liable to drone strike without warning, and backed it up by displaying his order to redeploy drones called back from Middle Eastern deployments to bases where they could more readily strike concentrations of veterans and Evangelical Christians in North America, in order to forestall further disruption from these known terrorist groups.

Speaker Bohner, having just returned from delivering the aqua Obama had entrusted him with, then gently asked him about his lack of response to the Ambassador’s dragging, rape, and murder after Navy SEALS had held out for hours against attackers using military grade weapons while the President watched on his big screen TV with Beyonce and Jay-Z. The ever patient and gracious President Obama then referred this worthless racist hater to the 72nd amendment that had been passed by Executive Order that states that all actions by Democrats are so long ago that they don’t matter even if they were just last Tuesday, while those of George Bush are well known to cause extensive problems for the entire Universe for all eternity. He concluded the interview by informing Mr. McCain that he was far from done with serving the President pleasure and bid him back to his work, while simultaneously informing the Speaker that the dog mess was completely out of control due to The White House having to dismiss the dog trainer because of the Republican seqeuster cuts, and that Mr. Boehner was to pick each piece up with his teeth and say afterwards “Thank you Sir, may I have another?”.

Both RINOS immediately leaped to the task.

    1. In other news, John McCain lifted his head out of Obama’s lap long enough to ask for some details about Benghazi, while apologizing for his extremely racist constituents that forced him to question such a wise and noble President simply because they hate Black people.

What the patoot does this mean? Take it back!

      1. John McCain was once an honorable warrior for his Country. Something seemed to have happened with his electoral defeat to Obama in 2008. I’m not sure if it’s because he truly believes that people now LOVE liberalism as a result and his trimming his sails into this wind to keep his job; or if it’s because he – like Carter before him – is so petulant and bitter about his defeat that he just wants to play spoiler and wreck everything just for petty revenge. Either way, his actions and statements – particularly those involving Rand Paul’s attempted defences of our frayed liberties – have made it very clear he’s no longer our freind.

The “racist” part is merely a hyperbole to suggest how apologetic he’d be when actually daring to confront Obama, were he pushed to it as a condition of continuing employment. Off-camera, yes, I believe he WOULD disparage his very constituents to the President, which would be consistent with his continuing appeasement of this monster. Whether or not he’d levy this PARTICULAR invective is, of course, debateable.

As to having his head in Obama’s lap, well, that’s just ME being a litte petty and throwing in a snark free of charge. My personal opinion of the man is that his relationship to Obama is now so servile that he’s been reduced to being – eh – what our Phillipino freinds would refer to as a “Sip-Sip” in Tagalog. Look it up, if THIS slang is not clear enough.

It does NOT mean he actually indulges in relations with Obama. I wouldn’t know WHAT the man does in his spare time, nor would I WANT to. That’s between him and G_d.

And no, I won’t take it back. The man’s time is over. Please exit stage left, Mr. McCain, it would be best for both you AND your Country. Don’t let the bitterness consume you completely, as it did Carter; perhaps it’s not too late. If you step away NOW, that is…

        1. I live in AZ–you called me a racist, not that I am not used to this nonsense. I also support McCain and wish he had become president, but that is just my personal opinion. I take offense to that post, but hey, it’s the internets.

          1. Sorry, Star, I am NOT calling you a “Racist”! The point is that it is what OBAMA would want to HEAR Mr. McCain says about his constituents, were folks like yourself to insist on Obama being confronted – about ANYTHING, as OBAMA considers ANY opposition to himself being prima facie evidence of racism.

Please, Star, we’ve both been here a long time. I don’t always agree with you, nor do you with me, but I DON’T call racist, nor am I NOW. If you took it that way, I SINCERELY apologize. Again, it’s meant to say OBAMA would want to hear you were a racist for questioning him. NOT that I am calling you a racist.

And I am with you on the last point. I wish Mr. McCain had won in 2008 also. He was not bitter then, made sense about some things (except agreeing with anthropomorphic global warming), and would be a TOWERING impromement on Obama!

I just don’t think much of him NOW. My opinion. Nothing more.

Thanks for your patience, Star. Please don’t hate me.

          2. I don’t hate you–you seemed to be saying AZ people were racists…I can’t follow this. This didn’t add much, to me anyhow… I get it that you don’t respect McCain anymore no matter how big a patriot and POW he might have been. To me he gets permanent chops. I think they are all foundering around trying to find some immigration lang that placates everyone without really hurting anyone. I just don’t like being part of posts–in the same thread–that accuses people of all sorts of weird sexual behavior we have no way of knowing about. It makes me feel disgusting.

  3. “Study: WH reporters asking easier questions . . . Examiner”

Did they EVER ask him a HARD one?

He’s not so good with the EASY ones, either. Like “Where were you born?” “What were your marks in school?” “Can you get a birth certificate to show us in a timely fashion?”

    “Can you pass E-Verify? ”

    Or even the inconsequential ones;
“How many states are there?” “What war did your grandfather fight in?” “Why is The White House closed to tours?”

Meh. Doesn’t matter. The answers would all be lies anyway…

  4. what a surprise that Harry needs more money to implement Obamacare. Everything that doesn’t work out just so is blamed on lack of proper funding, hence the House repubs. I just KNOW the stimulus would have worked had it been bigger.

  5. I am one of those Americans who think we should stay out of Syria. This was a good opportunity for Obama to stand with the American people for once, but he had to blow it with his ridiculous red line in the sand. Why couldn’t he have just said that there was no party in the right in Syria and that we were not going to choose sides?

  6. Here is another set of interesting headlines from around the Internet:

Sessions: ‘Tide is Beginning to Turn’ Against Immigration Bill
Dick Durbin at May Day Immigration Rally: Communists? What Communists? (Breitbart)
