I assume the White House doesn’t want to talk about things like the immigration bill today, which makes sense. Likely they will offer up federal national security and law enforcement types to take questions from the press. I will keep you posted.
Nevertheless, in a meeting newly added to the schedule, Obama will confer at the White House with Sens. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y) and John McCain (R-Ariz.) on immigration. And he’s keeping his appointment to celebrate NASCAR champion Brad Keselowski on the South Lawn.
Earlier today, Obama ordered flags at the White House and all other federal building to be flown at half mast.

Perhaps Joe Biden will read excerpts from his new book (Which he WILL pocket the royalties from!) “Terrorism for Dummies”
Carny-barker doesn’t want the inevitable questions about Benghazi.
If Brad Keselowski had good sense, he would claim a debilitating migraine or feign an appendecitis attack that would prevent him from attending a meaningless ceremony at the WhiteHouse, and send his regrets to the President.
Ain’t gonna happen, my friend. Miller Lite is Brad’s sponsor. Obama is a big fan of beer summits. Case closed.
If Preezy Revenge (h/t Susan) had any internal fortitude, he’d say “To Hell with the Sequester, the White House is again open to the public!” However……he doesn’t have any………
Why was the meeting added? It has NOTHING to do with what happened yesterday.
Will he still have his working lunch with Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Zayed of the United Arab Emirates?
Probably. He will be apologizing for using the word terrorism throughout it.
I wonder how many times he’s spoken with CAIR since yesterday afternoon.
Why on earth would the NASCAR guy want to go to the White House and why on earth would Obama even think to invite him??
Photo op for Obama. As for the NASCAR guy, as Rick W said, Millers Lite is his sponsor. Probably put pressure on him to go. Does anyone know if Millers Lite is a supporter of Obama?
Miller Lite is now owned by Coors. For as long as I lived in Colorado, where Coors was headquartered, Coors was rather Republican. Here are Peter Coors’s campaign donations from 2008 and 2012, respectively:

Thanks. I don’t think Coors would be an Obama donor. I’ve always thought they were conservative.
You’re welcome!
Cn you imagine Obama jumping into the car and doing doughnuts on the grass in front of the White House? LOL!
Jerry, isn’t that where Mooch has planted the watermelons?
And I assume that Obama doesn’t want Carney Barker to get any questions on Boston.
Er, that should read ‘half-staff.’ Buildings aren’t ships. Carry on.
