This guy is the vice president, the former chairman of the Judiciary Committee, and supposedly a leading Democratic expert on gun issues. And yet, he doesn’t understand the Second Amendment.

The Second Amendment is not about hunting. It’s about liberty. Many people in free societies have believed themselves entirely safe from their own government. Until they were not.

Biden may just think the second amendment is the follow-up to your first (illegal) shotgun blast into the air.
Based on some of the comments coming out of his head, at least he seems to be familiar with the term “hollow point”.

A cable TV show, “Crime 360” (A&E) showcases the tools that local police have to find criminals and their special effects equipment that helps them reconstruct what really happened. One particular episode featured the city of Buffalo, NY and the special equipment they own that can “hear” the sounds of gunshots anywhere within the city limits.
Our BorderPatrol (HomelandSecurity) has portable equipment that can “see” firearms inside someone’s home from the street.
PETA has indicated that they will be purchasing drones to track hunters in the fields.
Cities have plans to fly drones over the people and their homes to spy on them, supposedly looking for crimes in progress.
Homeland Security, Social Security Administration and other non-military bureacracies have purchased billions of hollow point bullets for reasons unknown.
We are increasingly suspicious of our own government and it’s intentions. We’re not giving up our rights to own firearms.
Keith, how can you not understand that Democrats care nothing about the Constitution? To them it is an outdated, meaningless document which must be thrown into the dustbin of history along with all of the traditions, principles and values upon which our country was founded.
Their purpose is the absolute control of people. They cannot control people if people have a way to defend themselves against that control. It really is that simple and that reality is what people on our side should be shouting daily.
