  1. “Obama to visit Israel within weeks . . . Times of Israel”

I would so like to see the hawks in Israel consume the little mouse that roared that is Obama. This POTUS has no idea what the real threat to our only true friend in the Middle East is. He will glad hand with all the politicos, again bow to the leader of the Wahabis, and in the long run nothing will be accomplished other than photo ops.

    • No doubt showing up just days before Passover to tell Israelis “what’s in their best interests”. He did such a fine job telling the Egyptians the same thing and that worked out just great – not! Historically, he’s the 44th president, but for me he’s the 11th plague.

  2. Looks like the Republicans have figured out how their party can remain impotent and ineffectual for the next generation – legalize illegal aliens so they can become Democrat voters.

“One of the great founding principles of our country was that children would not be punished for the mistakes of their parents.” ~ Eric Cantor

Yeah Eric, let’s do it for the children. After you give 20 million illegals access to our jobs and social services, then you can let all the convicted criminals who are parents out of prison because we don’t want to punish the children for the mistakes of their parents, right Eric? These statist politicians make me sick. A pox on them all…

  3. Hmmmm, seems odd they released his visit to Israel so far in advance. Two of the most hated leaders in the mid-east ? Seems like they’re asking for trouble……..sounds like a secret service nightmare to me.

    • Sorry AZ, but she didn’t say they “were” secure –

“I believe the border is secure. I believe the border’s a safe border. That’s not to say everything is 100 percent,” Napolitano said.

She also believes in the Tooth Fairy, Pigs can fly, and enjoys being treated under Obamacare (oh I forgot, she has a pass for that).

Not that you would catch me walking on the U.S. side of the boarder any time day or night, even armed or inside Ground Force One

  4. I see three of Obama’s nominations for the cabinet as being in trouble: Hagel, Brennan, and Lew. They are trying to delay the Hagel vote to try and turn it around, but today Obama’s “hometown newspaper” The Chicago Tribune called for his nomination to be withdrawn. Brennan is being tied to the use of drones to spy on American citizens and to kill them without due process of law. Even one of my Senators, paper tiger Ron Wyden, Dem., is hinting at filibustering his nomination. And Lew carries all kinds of baggage. I hope all three go down and that Obama gets a nice black eye out of it to add to his problems with his “recess” appointments to the Labor Board.

  5. Govt Contract – can you say ObamaPad? What was once just a lifeline phone will now become a “almost” free Smartphone or Touch Screen Pad. Why a pad? The below is what companies thought about a basic smartphone offering –

“Other companies selected to provide Internet service noted that merely allowing viewers to use apps such as Twitter and run simple Google searches on a small phone screen didn’t meet the spirit of the program’s intent, which included goals of “increasing digital literacy and use of the Internet [to] help bridge the skills gap [and] reduce job search discouragement.”
“The small screen, keyboard and perhaps connectivity issues make it harder for smartphone-only users to engage as deeply with the Internet as home broadband users,” wrote John B. Horrigan of the Partnership for Connected Illinois, which will provide DSL hookups and computer hardware for the poor in that state.”

I think we can see where this is going. TracFone has its foot, well maybe whole body inside the govt contract door now and knowing families will want MORE for less, will have to offer something more powerful than a smartphone. There new smartphone proposal is this:

“TracFone’s proposal was different. There would be no computers in sight, no opportunities to practice typing, read extensively or polish a resume. The company proposed instead simply offering fancier phones with Internet plans included, something it knows appeals to the poor.
“As proposed by TracFone, 500,000 to 1,000,000 low-income households would participate in the trial. In the pilot program, TracFone will offer its customers handsets that have an Android operating system. In addition, all plans will include the following bundled services each month: unlimited voice, unlimited texts, and 2GB of data,” billing the government at up to $45 per person per month, the successful proposal says.”

Enough!!! Even if their not free their getting a hell of a better price break than I am. And yes, down the road you know they will want a touch pad so the kids can be productive for school work, mom can write that work resume post it on the cloud or to businesses (yea right).

What started out as a “wired” (POTS) program back in Clinton / Bush II has blown up into a huge waste of govt money. Oh wait, our money as it’s being pulled from the $2.50 USF charge we pay with our monthly phone bill.
