In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

Debbie Wasserman Schultz Won’t be Going Away

Mike Allen of Politico is reporting that the gal who seems to annoy conservatives more than almost any other Democrat, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, will be back for another tour as chair of the Democratic National Committee.

EXCLUSIVE – A senior Democratic official: “Because of the outstanding job she has done, the President will ask the members of the Democratic National Committee to ratify his choice of [Rep.] Debbie Wasserman Schultz to continue leading the Party as Chair when they meet in January.  The DNC will meet [in Washington on Jan. 22], the day after President Obama is sworn in for a second term, with the primary item of business being electing party officers, including the DNC Chair . . .

–President Obama won Wasserman Schultz’s home state of Florida, burnishing her record after a cycle where she participated in 1,000 events and interviews, and helped solidify his hold on the Jewish vote despite a huge Republican effort. Top Dems say taking back the House is a key goal for the party, and she is perfect to lead that effort. Wasserman Schultz, a tireless fundraiser, combines a youthful optimism with a fierce partisanship.

Fierce partisanship is right. Next on her agenda: Take back the House for Democrats.

  1. People like her are destroying this country. Then again bipartisanship perhaps died with the 24/7 news cycle and anonymous message boards.

  2. ” Kill list? What kill list? I don’t know what your talking about “.
A lying drone. A perfect choice for the D.N.C. and the Obama regime.

  3. Another year or more of marbles-in-her-mouth DWS? I’d rather listen to dogs barking Christmas carols 24 hours a day, raccoons shrill at each other while I lay in bed trying to get some sleep, or watch a Honey Boo-Boo TV marathon for a week.
