    • I might be too flummoxed to actually watch the debate but I like reading Stephen’s drunkblogging, the NRO’s Corner, and here, of course.

I might watch the rerun if Obama breaks down and has a temper tantrum. I wouldn’t want to miss that.

Romney has to win this election not for the sake of the country, sure that’s important, but for the sake of my mental health. If Obama wins I just might go into a permanent fetal position and talk even more gibberish than I already do

My husband will have to have very quick reflexes because I might start throwing lamps around as Hillary Clinton did during the Monica scandal. It could be very ugly.

  1. It is not a popular sentiment in our secular society, but may G*d have mercy on America. Mary is our patroness; America needs her intercession more than it has ever needed it. Holy Mother Mary is our direct link to G*d. Israel turned its back on G*d so many times in Judges, yet G*d always redeemed Israel. America must hope G*d cares for it as He does for Israel.

  2. Thursday, the day after the debate, Obummer’s hitting up Wisconsin on the way back to DC Thursday (after first holding a campaign event in Denver). Then, Friday he has events in Virginia and Ohio(again):

Schedule for the Week of Monday, October 1, 2012

On Monday and Tuesday, the President will remain in Henderson, Nevada.
On Wednesday, the President will travel from Henderson, Nevada to Denver, Colorado where he will participate in the first Presidential Debate at the University of Denver. The First Lady will also attend. The President and the First Lady will remain overnight in Denver.

On Thursday morning, the President will deliver remarks at a campaign event in Denver, Colorado. In the afternoon, the President will travel from Denver to Madison, Wisconsin where he will deliver remarks at a campaign event. The President will return to Washington, DC in the evening.

On Friday morning, the President will deliver remarks at a campaign event in Vienna, Virginia. In the afternoon, the President will travel to Cleveland, Ohio where he will deliver remarks at a campaign event before returning to Washington, DC in the evening.

  3. Tweet from @markknoller
“It’s a drag,” says Pres. Obama of spending all day inside prepping for Wednesday’s big debate. “They’re making me do my homework,” he said.

Poor little fella. He’s not having any fun, even when he is living in the lap of luxury surrounded by minions who are at his beck and call. Maybe he could have saved the American people several million dollars and stayed at Camp David like Car in mentioned this morning…

  4. Obama’s huge traveling entourage has probably doubled the population of NV and tripled the national debt. I’m with Car in also – why didn’t he go to Camp David! The answer is simple. The first week of his Presidency he told his handlers he didn’t want to be cooped up inside the WH – he wanted to be ‘out amongst the people’…i.e. campaigning. For 4 years he has managed to find any excuse to hop on his magic carpet, AFOne, to ‘visit’ a school, coffee shop, ice cream parlor, bakery, backyard barbecue, townhall, military base, solar factory, etc. He never stopped being ‘candidate’ Obama. Hope some enterprising reporter chronicles his exploits and exposes him for what he is – the greatest fraud ever perpetrated on this country – the President who never was.
