    Nice itinerary. Obama continues to campaign on his way down to Louisiana while Romney flies directly there. I am no fan of Romney, but he did the right thing by going there.

    Let us recall that it was Obama’s group that criticized Bush for not going to Louisiana during Katrina & now Obama is a victim of his own vemon.

    Keith — Any idea why the empty chair flew back to DC yesterday from Texas only to fly out to Iowa first thing this morning? Seems like a tremendous waste of time and expense when he could have stayed overnight in the mid west.

      Cool Breeze…it’s not his money, which is why he doesn’t care how much he spends. All you have to do is to look at the trips ME-chelle Antoinette has taken all over the world to satisfy her wanderlust. Yes, technically the family is supposed to reimburse the government for the cost of a first class airline ticket if it doesn’t involve official business, but I guarantee that every place she’s gone, she’s managed to meet with a king or queen or some official so it turns into “official business” for our splendid first “lady”.

        I know he doesn’t care how much he spends of the taxpayer’s money, but yesterday’s and today’s schedule just look peculiar. When he’s out in Texas yesterday afternoon, he could have taken the short flight to the gulf region to inspect the scene. Instead he’s making ANOTHER tax payer funded trip on Monday. He also could have gone to Chicago for the night, meet with his campaign staff, sleep in his own house, save the taxpayer a few bucks, and be close to Iowa for his event today. Just seems like there had to be something going on at the WH that he needed to get back for.

      He wanted to go home to help the kids with their homework.
      He forgot to pack his toothbrush.
      He had to go home to walk the dog.
      He doesn’t like Texas.
      Michelle told him to be home before 10pm or ‘else’.
      He can’t stop crying so he went home so no one would notice
      Motel6 wouldn’t accept his credit card.

      The weather in the DC area today was threatening to rain/storm so he may have been told he wouldn’t be able to fly the copter to Andrews AFB. We’re having lots of lightening and thunder right now.
