The Supreme Court will announce its decision on Obamacare Thursday, when it will hand down the final batch of rulings from the current term. The Court announced several opinions this morning, including a decision upholding the “show your papers” provision of the Arizona immigration law.
The Supreme Court today upheld the most controversial provision of SB 1070, the Arizona immigration law, allowing police to continue to check the immigration status of people they stop, detain, or arrest. Most other portions of the Arizona law were invalidated, though, and the Court said that further challenges may occur to the “show your papers” provision that was not overturned. It appears the Court
