All campaign, all the time. And all on the taxpayer dime.
Good Grief – 7:00 a.m.? Is this a typo or have I been hitting the tea trolley too much?
He’ll probably stay in his jammies and sleep on the plane. DC to Colorado gives him another hour or so of snooze time…
BO in jammies nightmare ahead.
What exactly is presidential about this?
not one DAM thing nothing at all its another free ride on our dime to calif were all or most of the real liberal base lives Freaks,Fruits and Nuts george clooney is a duce bagno good piece of shit and his movies suck
Holy cow, 7am?! I don’t think he’s ever started his day so early. It’s funny how he can only start early when it’s because he has to squeeze in three fundraisers out west in one day (with an “official” event thrown in for cover).
I wonder how the Air Force graduates feel about their commencement being used as a pit stop, an excuse for BHO to campaign in Denver on his way to two fundraisers in CA.
Yikes, that was MY comment but with Tim’s sign on. I didn’t realize that the form had already been filled out with your info, Tim. Sorry.
Keith, this has happened before. Apparently, after someone leaves a comment, their info (screen name and email address) is left in the comment box for the next person.
Hey, is this some BHO plot to collect our email addresses? Ha ha.

I saw a funny comment today, “Obama only uses California as an ATM machine” otherwise it was a discussion addressing that he really doesn’t give a flip about that state.
Yep, the schedule seems to prove that ;)
Oh, and couldn’t find a commencement speech in Cali ? Then we could have paid for the fundraiser legs too.
Don’t worry Denise, he’ll make sure it’s all on our dime. :)
AZ Granny its always on our dime this man should be impeached
Maybe he should spend a little more time in Arkansas and Kentucky. Tee hee hee…

Oh, good. How embarrassing for “The One”. I feel slightly better now, after the crappy mood I’ve been in ever since seeing Colin Powell on Hannity this evening. Too bad Hannity gave him so much time on tonight’s show, I hope his book sales tank.
I really admired Colin Powell at one time. Nowadays, not interested in anything he has to say and wouldn’t take his book if he was handing them out for free.
I feel the same way, Susan. I lost the last bit of respect that I had left for him tonight. He gave BHO a chance in 2008 which was bad enough, but how he can sit here now and claim that BHO has done a good job is just beyond me.
I also heard a bit of the end of Mark Levin’s show tonight and he was ranting about it. I think he was referring to the Today show. Levin said Powell praised BHO as having helped the economy, saved GM, blah, blah, blah.
Ga, did he really? What happened to him?
its a black thing always stick together even if it means destroying america
I too admired Powell and then he went rouge and it was sad.
For all intents and purposes, this guy is still the ‘President-Elect’! Please, God, just make him go away…forever!
Just think, Girly, exactly 24 weeks from this very moment, we all will be here celebrating the end of this national nightmare!
Well, I guess now we know what the fundraisers in CA are about. Earlier this evening, Lynn Sweet tweeted:
“Obama campaign on Wednesday: the national launch of Obama Pride: LGBT Americans for Obama.”
Oh please that’s all I want for my Birthday in Jan 2013 it’s 2 days after so I will
never ask for anything again!
Lizzy – your wish reminded me of an old joke, that was revised many years later and had Gamal Nassar going to a palm reader.
It’s an old joke from WWII. Hitler went to a palmist who studied the Führer’s hands, carefully looking for some sign of the future. She looked up at him finally, pointing to a small line, saying, “mein Führer, you are going to die on a Jewish holiday.”
His curiosity piqued, he asked, “Which one?” She answered, “Any day you die will be a Jewish holiday.”
Good one. I heard another gem from Hitler at the very end of the war.
He was down to women children and old men. If they did not fight he would have them hung from lamp posts in Berlin. His explanation ‘If you
are not willing enough to sacrifice then you don’t deserve to live’ sounds
vague to remarks the Obama,s peddle although not as viscous just a sign of really bad decisions.
Ga, my stomach turns every time he blathers on and on about being in this together, and helping each other. Those two never did anything but promote themselves. Michelle went on – at a Nato event – about how she left that law firm, and a pile of money, to go work at that non-profit.
Where she made – per NPR – $122,000 at the advanced age of 29. After three years of resuming pumping and connections-making, she then went to making three times that at U of Chicago, plus extra for the various “boards” she served on.
AND THIS history – is their record of helping. Give me an effen break.
If Grant Wood was painting American Gothic today with the O’s – He’d be holding a golf club instead of a pitchfork and she would be wearing the gawd awful black and red dress that is symbolic of the “gothic” dreck sub-culture.
MO couldn’t cut it at the big law firm that hired her simply because of her demographic. She had little to no responsibility there and no clients of her own. She failed the bar on her first try and I can tell you with certainty that big firms FIRE new associates who don’t pass the bar on their first try. The exam is only offered twice a year and they can’t wait a year for the associate to finally be admitted to the bar, (if you fail it in the summer, you find out in late fall, then take it again in February, results and bar admission is in the spring). MO was able to stay there, having not been admitted to the bar until a year after graduation, May of 1989. She then only practiced law for two years when she left, after contacting Valerie Jarrett to get a job in the Mayor’s office. I suspect someone at the firm put her in touch with Valerie Jarrett because she was incompetent and dead wood at the firm, but there was no way they could fore her. Fortunately for them, MO moved on because she hated it there, having been totally unqualified for the job in the first place.
Some of the details of MO’s career are in this article:

*typo – fire
It is not true that large firms always fire associates who fail the bar exam the first try. I was a partner at a large national law firm and we did not fire people simply because they failed on the frist try. In fact, the partners of the firm who had not passed on th frist try took those who failed out to lunch. Several of my friends from an Ivy League law school who failed on the first try were not fired until they failed on the second try. Large law firms have a lot of work for which you do not need to be admitted to the bar; so they can afford to keep people on if they want.
Well, I am talking with direct knowledge of large firms in NYC, going back over twenty years. I have to disagree that there is plenty of work for first year associates to do for an entire YEAR while they try to pass the bar exam. There are others in the firm who can do that work at a much lower salary. The people hired as first year associates are hired to practice law, not to be grossly overpaid paralegals and legal assistants. I highly doubt that a large firm hiring a Harvard Law grad would be very pleased with and tolerant of a new associate failing the bar exam. The passing rate in Illinois is surely not as low as in NY or CA either.
mo1, I forgot to mention this – In reply to my post, you stated:
“It is not true that large firms always fire associates who fail the bar exam the first try.”
However, I did NOT say that. I said:
“…big firms FIRE new associates who don’t pass the bar on their first try. ”
I find it interesting that you imply that I characterized the firing as something that “always” occurs in big firms when I did not say that at all. I simply said it happens. How curious that an attorney, a former “partner at a large national law firm” no less, has reading comprehension issues. Hmm….

I guess that speech at the academy will pay for a political trip, right?

WHEW! I was afraid after his recent Schedules he was going to do Presidential work or some other silly thing. 3 fundies in a day, now THATS normalcy!
This makes fundraisers 8, 9, and 10 for the month, if my count is correct. I’ve been under the weather most of the week, and I can’t seem to access the archives between the 14th and the 23rd, so I am not sure this is 100%.
