As of now, I am in control here, in the White House

Blogger Has Best Readers

Thank you all for your kind comments about my mom’s visit. They were so nice – I read a bunch of them to her and she was delighted. As if I needed more proof that I’ve got the best readers around – good hearted, clever – and cantankerous when you need to be!

And now back to work. And you all will get back to making this website great by giving your unvarnished views, which influence my unvarnished views that I give you here and provide lots of great reading for everyone.

I gain strength from your support when you agree and the strength of greater understanding when you disagree. I live in the Washington area, but because of you I get to hear so much more than the Beltway echo, which makes me a lot smarter. And even most of those who don’t comment read the comments, so you help make the website so much more interesting and entertaining.

Thanks for what you do to make this blog a success.

  1. I think we’ll all agree that the reason we come to your blog everyday is because you give us an interpretation of daily WH operations that we don’t get from the MSM. Your articles, insight and analysis are excellent and keep us coming back. Thank you!

  2. We get the information we need that the current cabal would love for us not to
be aware of and that helps us all be more informed always a good thing!

  3. Glad you enjoyed your weekend Keith. Thank you for your honesty and bravery in reporting the unvarnished truth from the den of wolves that is DC. You give us out here in flyover country a place to voice our opinion, and for that I’m truly grateful.

  4. Reagan borrowed from John Winthrop, and thus I shall borrow from RR. America is a shining city on a hill, still to this day. Unfortunately, the light has grown dim over the past several years and it is pundits such as yourself that are helping to keep a spotlight on what is happening in this country and to a lesser extent around the world.

America is still the leader of the free world, despite this administration attempts to change that role. It will only remain the leader as long as there are those in the media, MSM or alternative, that are willing to keep that spotlight focused on what is happening in DC.

You do have some of the best and brightest that frequent this blog, and it is heartening to know that there are still those that believe in what this country has and still stands for. To borrow from the ancient Roman gladiators, we who vote (and can think for ourselves) salute you.

Glad you had a good visit with mom, she must be so proud! :-)

  5. Awww Keith….what nice words!
I love this blog because you tell the Truth.
I often quote you to my family and friends who also are sick of the lies.
Hope you had a wonderful visit with your mom.
    Keep up the good work!

  6. I am so fond of your blog. You write with great knowledge and insight and with an unusual perspective for a Washington journalist. I think you are brave too and you have a nice, personal touch. I also like the clever, witty commenters that visit your blog. I learn a lot about the US through all of you. Thank you for letting me into this “community”.

  7. Well, Keith . . . as others have said . . . you give us info that we don’t get anywhere else. And you give as you see it. Thank you!

  8. Thank you, Keith for your considered honest opinion. Seldom do you express yourself without due consideration.
Thank you for giving us a place to express our opinions. Most media outlets and opinion blogs are places where differing opinions are met with negativity, sometimes funny and mostly profane and disrespectful. It is encouraging to find a home where differences are discussed and expressed with respect.

  9. Your blog is an oasis in the desert, Keith. It has everything–humor, wit, intelligence – and a healthy dose of fearlessness. It’s so nice not to have to wade through pages of vile, illiterate comments from the radical left! Thanks for your herculean efforts to search for the ‘truth’ and for your unique manner of presenting it!

  10. Readers Have Best Blogger!

Keith – I am old school when it comes to reading. I want the five w’s (who, what, where, when and why). Your site is a gem.

  11. I’m so glad you and your mom enjoyed a nice weekend, Keith. I’m a little late in stopping by here today and everyone else has already left such fine comments. I’ll just add that I very much appreciate you and all the people who comment here! Thanks for providing this informative, witty, friendly site for us. You’re a gem!

  12. I agree with all of the above. This is a great blog and I appreciate all your efforts to keep us informed. Also, I think it’s notable that you read the comments and reply. With your interaction and the thoughtful comments left by readers, your blog has become a wonderful resource.

  13. You have become the first blog to which I go in the day. Your information and your perspective are very valuable.

My father was taken off life-support today and being busy with his situation prevented me from commenting on your mother’s visit. I hope you two had a wonderful time together. Parents are precious, the moreso as we get older.

      • Thank you, Keith — and thank you to everyone on the blog. I doubt that I’ll be around much the next week or two, but I will be back to read the best blog and commentors that I know.

    • Anonna, I’m so sorry about your father. Thinking of you and your family and praying for peace and strength through this difficult time.

    • Anonna, it’s my privilege to take care of people like your Dad at the end of their life. Please know that when the time comes, it’s never easy, even when expected. Bless him and you and your family. It’s a very hard time.

      • Thank you, qestout. I don’t know what I’m going to do without him, but I guess everyone lucky enough to have parents into their old age feels the same and I’ll survive as they all do. The nurses have been so kind all through this horrible week and such a resource for me when I need feedback and sympathy. I don’t know where such kind people come from in this world. Thank you for helping patients and families.
