  1. Keith, does Obama stay in his office and work between appointments on his schedule? Do they just not put on his schedule that he is working in his office? I know poeple who work in offices usually actually work more than what the schedule says.

I am really hoping that he is working more than his schedule says.

  2. I knew Tuesday’s schedule would be VERY light for two reasons. First, poor BHO actually “worked” from about 9:30 to 3:30 on Monday. That is a very tough schedule for him, far busier than his typical day. It must have killed him to roll into the Oval Office around 9:30 for a change. Funny, I know people with commutes of one and a half to two hours and they’re at their desks between 8 and 8:30am every day (and thankful to have jobs!).

Secondly, I look at the weekly schedule they put out on the weekends and whenever a day says “the President will attend meetings at the White House”, that’s code for a very light, or non-existent schedule, plus maybe a fundraiser or two thrown in at the last minute. I guess he’s saving that for Wednesday and Friday this week!

A look at this week’s schedule indicates a very light week the rest of the week, and even another PARTY, (of course!):

Schedule for the Week of April 30, 2012

On Tuesday and Wednesday, the President will attend meetings at the White House.

On Thursday, the President and the First Lady will host a Cinco de Mayo reception at the White House.

On Friday, the President will attend meetings at the White House.

On Saturday, the President will travel to Columbus, Ohio and Richmond, Virginia for campaign events.

Party, party, party – they’re planning for their fourth (and last) Cinco de Mayo celebration to be the biggest one yet:

  3. Keith – when is the last time he has held a cabinet meeting? I follow you every day (the first thing I read in the morning and the last thing I read at night) and cannot remember when one was held. Who are the senior advisers – the czars?

  4. There is a scathing article in Daily Mail about Obama politicizing the killing of
Bin Laden and it’s coming from the Seals. This might be a time he won’t get
by with his overwhelming narcissism. To take a credit for a decision any Preident would have made like he pulled the trigger is the worst yet IMO. This
was done because of the steps taken by President Bush and the work he and
other agencies put in place after 9-11. The addition of Clinton’s 2 cents worth just makes it worse had he not been busy prior to 1993 and taken one of the
chances we might not be where we are today. Thanks Seal Team Six we all
know you are the heros not the wimp dragged off the golf course so they could
take his picture in the Situation Room. The WH to both Obama’s is nothing
more than a stage for their ego driven agenda.

      • I think Huffpo was a tad annoyed with Obama.

Obama also took a jab at Arianna Huffington’s Huffington Post. “Plenty of journalists are here tonight,” said Obama. “I’d be remise if I did not congratulate the Huffington Post on their Pulitzer Prize. You deserve it Arianna. There is no one else out there linking to the kinds of hard hitting journalism that HufPo is linking to every single day.” He continued, “and you don’t pay them. It’s a great business model.”

        • Ha ha ha … nice. They carry Obama’s water for years, and this is what he does. Of course, I find it kinda interesting that if you read the comments at HuffPoo (something I try not to do very often) they’ve become increasingly critical. I mean, we’re talking about barely there, so a rather consistent argumentative presence. I don’t know who the brave soldiers are that can stand dealing with those numbskulls over there, but – like those beer commercials – I salute you!

          • Even the bastion of liberalism, the NY Times, has commenters who are less than kind to Obama. A couple of years ago, those comments would not have been approved. Today, in any given pro-Obama article, maybe 20% of the comments are unhappy with the man. Personally, I think that says alot about the misgivings so many of his base voters have. Finally.

          • I’m not sure it’s his base. I think he’s lost the moderates. The moderates who, in 2006 and 2008 turned on the Republicans are no longer so sure they back the right horse.

The best we can hope from his “base” is that they are unenthusiastic and stay home. They certainly won’t vote against their party, who they still see as their best choice.

  5. Shouldn’t we all be wishing our Dear Leader a Happy May Day? He must be agog with excitement today as the ‘occupiers’ prepare their last ditch attempt to bring down the wealth creators. A dream come true for the community organizer extraordinaire!
