  1. From ACE:

President Obama flew to Florida this past week to explain high gas prices. According to the Washington Post, on his way to Florida this past Thursday, reporters were “perplexed” at the President’s 41 minute flight from Washington, DC to Orlando, Florida taking 1 hour and 15 minutes. The flight was in the air an extra 30 minutes, burning precious fossil fuels.

It does not seem a coincidence that the President landed right at half time of an NBA basketball game between the star studded Miami Heat and New York Knicks. Some theorized that the President delayed his flight in the air to watch more of the basketball game.

      • Nope…that was just his way of telling ME-chelle, “I, too, can take the jet and use more fuel that I really should” as he blows some “raspberries” (out of season, organic, and costing a small fortune) at her!

    • According to the Air Force, the cost of operating Air Force One is $179,750 per hour. Taxpayers paid $89,875.00 for that extra 30 minutes, or $1,497.92 per minute! Per minute! That’s more than some people earn. How many hungry people would that have fed?

  2. Oh goody. We’re about to view another installment in the on-going drama of the “WhiteHouse Toadies” led by the puppet called JayCarney. In this on-going saga of how the once respected Press has lost it’s way, MrCarney will praise the virtues of the Puppetier and the Toadies will smile and nod in agreement.
After the filming, the Puppetier’s helpers will punch the tickets of the Toadies so that they will keep their place in line at the WhiteHouse buffet and a chair in the basement dungeon.

    • Srdem, You should start your own blog on Blogger. It’s free and they/Google have never bothered me. You write better than 99% of the people out there. If you want I’d even custom design your own background picture for your blog. I’ve always done my own. It’s an option they allow and it’s so much fun.

      • Please, WordPress, Please ! It’s so much user friendlier than blogger/blogspot. Have been trying to move MOTUS to WP because I’m too lazy to figure out how to post over there ;)

      • Thank you, that’s gonna make my head swell even bigger.
But, no thanks for the offer; I prefer to snark, snipe, and comment without having to do the actual work that bloggers must do to stay current.

I don’t have half of the talent and dedication that you show with every video you make. Keep up the good work, don’t let them push you around.

        • My comment was nested incorrectly: I meant to comment on what a pleasure it is to have ANYTHING in common with someone as well-informed and articulate as srdem65.

    • All the praise is well-deserved srdem. You have a way of putting to words the thoughts many of us share in such a funny and snarky way. You and Granny Jan are my heroes.

There is an Obamabot posting under my name over on Keith’s dinner party article, so I’m taking on my own title.

    • That is so funny: The first lady is photoshopped alkmost to the point of anorexia, and it’s the only photo ever taken of the first children smiling.

    • That is their weird hand-grippy Christmas photo.

It makes much more sense as a campaign photo and I’m sure this was planned from the instant the Obama-ites realized there was one more vulnerable place in the system that they could exploit.

I hear calls for a restriction on how much the First Lady can travel and spend on her actiivities — this was never needed before because First Ladies had respect for their position and the fact that it is funded by taxpayer money. But not MoochMORE, Michelle Antoinette, Mama Greedy-Gimme — she discovered she could have staff and trips and she’s been on a tear ever since.

The misuse of this photo is another example of this mindset.
