In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

  1. Yes, that is Bill Clintons style and I agree with you here who think that Obama is now trying to sound and act like Bill Clinton. It is his latest persona. Not an Oscar performance though….
I read that Maureen Dowd in liberal New York Times is not in love with Obama anymore( NewsBusters, WeaselZippers). She calls him “maddingly naiv” and she says that his presidency has ” all the joy of a root canal”. According to her he blaims his bad relationship with the Congress on lack of time to do a lot of Washingtonparties ( !!!!) and that he as a matter of fact has two daughters to take care of ( !!!!). He doesn´t say anything about all his golfing though. And nothing about his Hollywoodparties either.

    1. I still say that Obama has mother abandonment issues, and when Nancy (botox) Pelosi lost the Speaker’s position, he again felt abandoned by a mother figure.

Poor guy probably wept in his pillow for a week after the 2010 election. “Mommy, please don’t leave, I’ll be good!”

Grow a pair dude! And get on with your life!

  2. Yeah, with Dowd et al, the bloom seems to be off the old rose, but they will vote for him again…even if they have to hold their nose–just as many of us will do the same for the Rep nominee.
