Don’t ask me why, perhaps it’s the ADD but I am reminded of the old proverb that goes:
For Want of a Nail
For want of a nail the shoe was lost.
For want of a shoe the horse was lost.
For want of a horse the rider was lost.
For want of a rider the battle was lost.
For want of a battle the kingdom was lost.
And all for the want of a horseshoe nail.
A new version could read:
For lack of understanding the economy was lost
For lack of the economy the future was lost
For lack of a future hope was lost
For lack of hope the people were lost
For lack of the people the election was lost
For lack of the election Obama lost
For lack of Obama the kingdom was saved
All for the lack of understanding
Nice Shofar!
Who’s a witty White House reporter? Keith Keith Keith! Practicing my

Thanks Lizzy.

The ‘Save Obama’s Job Act’ is designed to push us over the edge of the economic cliff, so I would say it is as big a threat as any potential terrorist act.
Is DC under the same heightened security as NY? It sounds like a police state with armed soldiers patrolling Penn Station. Is it real or are they crying wolf again? Who knows…
I noticed it came up the nite of the speech–but I am sure that is not a diversion…or pretty sure.
Actually security is something we might want to pay for–but at least out here in AZ, the security funds are being cut.
Works in with that old watch this hand while I rob you with the other. He lost his true calling an illusionist. Also slight of hand.
