Quote of the Day

“You know, Paul, about this Medicare plan of yours, is there any way we can say something positive, like, for example, ‘It doesn’t apply to old people’ or ‘Have two surgeries, get the third one free?'”

– House Speaker John Boehner

  1. LOL.

Well, for the vitriol I dish out at the cocktail-swilling elites of the Republican Party … at least Ryan put SOMETHING out there. It doesn’t go far enough for dedicated cuts to Defense or entitlements but its a start.

A Suggestion to cut the budget: Boehner could start reducing costs by only tanning on even-numbered days … so that DC Power and Light does not have rolling blackouts….
