Obama’s Justice Department will prosecute his former campaign rival, John Edwards, for campaign finance law violations.

Obama appears to have bowed to Pentagon pressure in his search for a new Joint Chiefs chair and passed over a White House favorite – Marine Gen. James E. Cartwright, who helped Vice President develop his limited troop option for Afghanistan.

Obama this morning will speak to Parliament about how important the U.S.-British relationship remains.

Republicans got into it yesterday with Obama Consumer Czar Elizabeth Warren.

And Chicago Mayor and former White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel will have to testify at the trial of former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich.
