In the history of mankind, many republics have risen, have flourished for a less or greater time, and then have fallen because their citizens lost the power of governing themselves and thereby of governing their state. TR

Quote of the Day

“Wait a second. Checking . . . checking . . . checking . . . still checking . . . checking . . . Yes! I’m a Republican.”

– Newt Gingrich

  1. Oh,one more out. I don´t think that he will be missed.
So, the Corsi book is stirring emotions ? Esquirer The Politics blog reported that Corsis book was ripped from the shelves and pulped as it was “bullshit” and this “breaking news” flashed around the Internet. When WorldNet Daily reacted it turned out this story was totally fabricated. Keith just wrote about the mocking letter from “Julianna” and I wonder why they bother at all to write about the book to their friends on the campaign email list. Nervousness ? I guess that the White House not at all want the focus again on Obamas secrets. He was really on the ropes before and was rescued by this…hmm.. document.I have not read anything about his explanation for producing it like this. I am convinced that the best way to get at this elusive, deceitful person is to ask who he really is, what he is hiding. The devil is in the details. And I really hope that the T shirt won´t sell.

    1. Swedish Lady, you stir an idea in me which is that they need to mock the birthers as much as possible so as to make sure no one dares ask other questions about Obama’s background.

      1. Keith…what is the Air Force reference…’you draw the most flak when you are over the target?’

I think it would be a savvy move if the R potential candidates would all release their academic records. As in ‘see we are transparent too…’ but its all psyops…as the Regime is NOT transparent at all. Call him out without calling him out…that is what Trump was good at (he left a little too early).

Think about how hard it would be to falsify three sets of college records (they couldn’t get one BC right).

        1. That’s a great idea. But of course the press won’t follow up with the logical question, where are Obama’s health & school records?

If Bush was hiding his records this long either a reporter would have purloined them or there would be articles all over the place with quotes from fellow students and former teachers.

  2. In his heyday, Newt was a force to be reckoned with. He accomplished more during his stint as Speaker of the House than Boehner could ever hope for. That was then and this is now. The Republican party is going through a transition, back to more conservative ideas and beliefs. The establishment politicians aren’t accepting that change very well. They are fighting and screaming and grabbing the curtains on their way out the door. Newt is a good man who failed to realize that his time in the sun has passed. Rather than stand on the sidelines and promote future statesmen like Paul Ryan, he tried to steal his glory…and fell flat on his face. It really is a very sad story.
