  1. Unless he’s travelling or campaigning Obama hardly ever has anything scheduled before 11:00am. Must be nice. Even though I like to have some before school family time too I still have to be at work by 9:00.

    1. It’s not on his public schedule, but Barry will be meeting early this morning with his Chicago based fitness “advisor” to go through some stretching exercises with the objective of being able to perform the deepest bow ever to a Middle Eastern king, which will take place starting at 11:15 AM.

  2. Ok, Keith. Why no lunch with the king? Is that normal protocol to meet with someone in the White House at that hour of the day and then not have them stay for lunch? Usually if someone comes over at that time of day and your “business” takes you thru lunch, you ask them to stay and eat. What gives? Am I just being too Southern?

  3. Would sure like to be a fly on the wall during that meeting with Gates. Isn’t this their first meeting since Gates’ big reversal from loose lips to gutsy call?
